The Governor’s “State of the State” was last night. And Berg’s 24th Law was in full effect:
Progressive politicians can, and routinely do, say anything they want, regardless of honesty or even factuality, confident that their audience, while theoretically “educated”, has no capacity for critical thought”.
The gaslighting was, as with all things Walz, pretty ovewhelming:
Better schools.
Safer streets.
Governor Klink says this with a straight face, counting on “his” voters being too gullible and uncritical to know he’s whizzing on their legs and calling it “rain”.
Translation:
Better schools = tampons in the boys bathroom.
Cleaner water = no industry that might spoil it.
Safer streets = sue Kia for making it too easy for young Black men to steal cars
Safer streets….does that mean things like “tolerating it when Minneapolis had about 200 fewer police officers than the law allows”?
For my part, I do remember some silly squabbles politicians had when I was much younger, things like “everybody lies about sex” in 1998, so I’m really not quite sure what planet Walz resides on, or what color the sun is there. The character flaws that lead to those squabbles are indeed representative of the things that politicians will do in office.
It all depends on who you’re talking about. Waltz is talking about his constituencies.
Better schools = Better for rabidly Demonrat teachers. Nobody said anything about better for students.
Safer streets = Certainly safer for criminals. Nobody ever said anything about anybody else.
^ Well put, nerd.
Well, he IS correct……if you’re comparing Minneapolis to Port au Prince……
