Informal Yet Rigorously Scientific Survey
By Mitch Berg
So – given the facts that:
- Big Left has been supporting Trump for the nomination, indirectly and directly
- Among the top-tier GOP candidates – DeSantis, Haley and Trump – Trump performs most weakly against Biden.
- Notwithstanding that, Trump is all but cleared for landing as the nominee, months before the convention
- Democrats – at least, the ones that aren’t gaslighting us that the President is in fine fettle as evidence by his immense accomplishments – seem to be “suddenly” confronting the notion that the President isn’t all there. But not many of them.
- But some Republicans are calling for someone to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Biden from office.
Am I the only one who thinks the Democrats would love the GOP to lead the defenestration of Biden?

Nope! If the GOP was smart, they would let the DemoCommies do it for them, but…

* DeSantis is no longer a candidate, so it’s a moot point.
* Based on the available evidence, most of Haley’s support seems to be from people who are going to be voting for the donks in November.
* I don’t like Trump, either, but I like the professional Republicans like Mitch McConnell even less.
* In the end, all of it is kabuki. Everyone in the 202 area code (and 301 and 703 for that matter) needs to be defenestrated. Biden will be making his LBJ speech at a time of permanent Washington’s choosing.

I never think that Republicans should “lead the charge” to remove a Democrat from Office, if for no other reason that those attempts hurt Republicans more than Democrats. OTOH, I think that Trump is benefiting from the same “circle the wagons” instinct following the first indictment from Alvin Bragg.
Also, I find politicians like John Thompson and Ilhan Omar to be useful to convince swing voters to vote against Democrats, at least if the GOP could keep it’s own House clean. That’s why I supported ejecting George Santos.
Biden is a slightly different story. Because everything surrounding POTUS is acrimony and there’s really no one left to persuade, I just tell Biden voters that they are participating in Elder Abuse. If I have no power to change the situation, I might at least get some personal enjoyment out throwing it in their faces.

Remember all the aggro when Democrats took the nomination away from Bernie to give to Hillary, how stroppy the Far Left was? The DNC is facing a worse problem today.
How can the bigshots behind the scenes force out a sitting president and The First Black Vice President without losing the base completely? They can’t. They need someone to do it for them.
In public they say “Don’t impeach them, you nasty Republicans” when what they mean is “Please do our dirty work for us.”
Bernie got a third home for taking a walk. What will they offer to clear this ticket, and who will they offer it to?

Absent Biden taking a piss on some head-of-state’s leg on live TV or using a racial slur, I don’t think the Dems want Biden out. Look at the ass-kissing love notes people like Tina Smith write or the people who say, with a straight face, that Joe is the finest man to ever hold the office. Kim Jong Un would be jealous of how some of team Biden look up to Joe.
If he dropped out, there’s Harris in the wings. Sure she ticks some boxes, but her cackling and word salads should worry even the most woke of Democrats.

Yesterday, Putin declared that he preferred to have a POTUS that is “predictable”, like Joe Biden, but that he will work with anyone that the American people elect. He also took a shot at all of the liars that peddled the “Russia interfered in the 2016 election”, without proof. I guess that makes Biden Putin’s puppet.

Regarding the Democrats, who would the adult in the room be if Biden were forced out? Certainly not Harris or Governor French Laundry! And certainly none of the progressives, or even liberals, would tolerate Manchin.
And on the GOP side, oy! Half the part is Trump or no one, the other half is never Trump. We’re forgetting, IMO, that this is an engineering problem of tradeoffs, not a science problem with only one right answer.
Praying, but we are so screwed.

I’d vote for the Hawaiian chick and the nun from the TikTok commercials commercials except I suppose she doesn’t celebrate abortion so she would be devisive and thrrefore unacceptable to liberals and RINOs.
Too bad, she seems nice.
