I wish more American – especially Minnesota DFL – politicians could speak with the moral clarity that German vice-chancellor Robert Habeck does:

While allowing that the Germans have a tighter definition of free speech than we do – when you let the depraved speak out loud, you can see what they’re doing in a way you can’t in Europe, and I vastly prefer the American way – this would still be considered pretty daring in the US.

And he’s a Green.o. Talking like a classical liberal, on this issue at least.

    I knew I could count on Kremlin Tom to unequivocally take the Hamas/terrorist/Nazi side at face value without addressing the reasons a fair number of Palestinian civilians are being killed–little things like “using civilian facilities to wage war”, “using civilians as human shields”, “teaching blood libels to civilians as historical fact”, and the like.

    And yes, Kremlin Tom, you’re only 100% off your goal in being right. Not bad by your standards, though I’d have expected you might have accidentally stumbled into the truth from time to time. But I guess not everybody can be as accurate as a broken clock!

    Correction. I’ve since seen 40% kids from sources I consider reliable. Thats 4000 kids, Patriots™️.

    Also, as to UN claims of mass casualties, they now specified 89 of it’s humanitarian aid workers have been bombed to death. But🖕🏻em…shouldn’t be in a bombing range if they didn’t want to get bombed, right?

    I’m with you as far as the UN in general, and the UN “Peace keeping force” in particular, Boss (remember what they did in Mogadishu?)

    But as I understand it, these were all unarmed medical types; doctors EMT’s & such who were there to help people who got blown up with ATK’s finest. I could be wrong, but the UN called them “Humanitarian workers”.

    I mostly just bring it up to highlight how everyone is getting blown up without regard to their status. It’s just a killing field; it’s fucking disgusting, and worst of all, it’s being done on my goddamned credit card.

    For those who haven’t yet read the papers, but might be persuaded to learn something (i.e. “not Swiftee”), it’s worth noting that (a) numbers from Hamas are to be given the same credibility afforded others who endorse blood libels and (b) the civilian deaths which have actually occurred arise because Hamas uses civilians as human shields, placing military installations in residential areas, under hospitals, and in elementary schools.

    So one cannot stop these particular Nazis without some civilians getting killed–it’s part of the Hamas/Nazi design. Those who insist on a ceasefire–more or less a “peace during Tet” to allow Hamas to re-arm and re-organize–need to remember that they are more or less asking the set the stage for the next round of atrocities. If Hamas cared about their neighbors, they would immediately surrender.

    Kremlin Tom, I’m unaware of any use of civilians as shields by Ukraine. I am, however, aware of a lot of preposterous lies made by the Russians to that effect, lies refutable by the fact that no weapons systems siteable at the locations hit by Russia could possibly have hit any Russian troops.

    – 41% of Americans say U.S. is doing too much to support Ukraine
    – Democrats remain steadfast in support of current approach to Ukraine
    – 64% of Americans say neither side is winning the war

    I’d suggest those that say neither side is winning do not understand Russia already has what it wants, and is successfully defending it.

    Degenerates are steadfast in defense of buttsex, child trafficking and money laundering…no surprise there.

    The GOP side of the uniparty are ready to toss the uke’s under the bus to throw everything Weimerica has to support their Greatest Ally™️ genocide campaign, even as doing so makes Weimerica a pariah to civilized countries.

    Support for mindless slaughter may well cost the GOP the next election, according to Gallup:

    – After a decade in which Democrats have shown increasing affinity toward the Palestinians, their sympathies in the Middle East now lie more with the Palestinians than the Israelis, 49% versus 38%.

    – Sympathy toward the Palestinians is also at a new high among political independents, up six points to 32%.

    If that’s a “win” in your mind, I think you’ve got to see a “loss” as “half of Russia a sheet of glass.”
