Cloud Control

By Mitch Berg

Senator Amy Klobuchar thinks the stakes of this election are very, very high:

Sen. Amy Klobuchar was slammed Tuesday for appearing to suggest that voting for Democrats in the November midterm elections could help thwart hurricanes and the effects of climate change.

The evidence is all around us: Democrats not only think their voters are stupid, they are counting on it.

She is proving, beyond any doubt, that she is dumber than a box of rocks. Sadly, there are probably a million progs that believe her, which illustrates Mitch’s point.

Isn’t there a Berg’s Law that covers this?

Briefly watched the CNN “climate correspondent “ reporting on Ian’s arrival in Florida. Hysteria on the scale of watching an asteroid striking earth. Awoke this morning to see the state was still above water. Then Fox got into it, quoting Lee County sheriff that fatalities were in “the hundreds.” How about verifying facts before broadcasting? I’m interested in learning the true casualty numbers. Unless beach residents had hurricane parties on the docks I very much doubt the pronouncement.

Wait a second. Klobachar is not a scientist, and she is using the media to spread disinformation.
Make them follow their own rules.

I was reliably informed by the Light Bringer himself, President Barack Obama, that the Seas had begun to lower way back in 2009. I believe the exact date that things were fixed was January 20th, 2009.
Is Amy Klobuchar calling Obama a liar? Is Amy just a part of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy?!?!

If you want to know just how poor our elites want you to be, go to the Nature Conservancy’s handy carbon footprint calculator and see what you have to do to reduce your carbon footprint by 50%: https://www.nature.org/en-us/get-involved/how-to-help/carbon-footprint-calculator/
You will have a smaller family, a smaller home, you will travel less, heat and cool your home less, and you will eat less.

    UMMP,

Maybe it would be a great idea for them to close down all of their electric energy consumption and packing pollution, before they lecture us peasants.

    boss, it’s hierarchy not hypocrisy.

So, I guess one of the Emerys has had enough of the connection between voting Democrat and how hurricanes are caused (it’s science!).

  10. Emery Says:

Absolutely nothing wrong with being just a logistics guy. But Macho Studs like Majewsk, they’ve spent so much time calling anyone who wasn’t a SEAL Sniper Door Kicker a pussy, that he’s embarrassed by his own service.

  11. SmithStCrx Says:

    Emory,
Forgive me for the confusion, but I didn’t think that Amy was on the Ballot this year. Is Majewski the GOP Endorsed candidate? I must have missed his speech in Rochester.

Going by her income and plane travel, Klobuchar’s carbon footprint is at least seven times as large as mine.
So Klobuchar can stuff her green agenda where the sun don’t shine. She doesn’t believe her own bull shit.

  14. John "Bigman" Jones Says:

wait you mean amy klobuchar isnt dead

maybe thats why lesko brandon never calls her to the podium to take a bow cuz she isnt dead

seems like there ought to be an easy fix for that problem tell the fbi to quit conspiracies to go after governors

Looking at the list of “ways to improve”, I actually see a number of things which increase carbon emissions, including electric vehicles, using public transit, installing solar panels, buying “renewable” electricity, and more. Why is it that so-called environmentalists cannot do math or science to calculate things like overall environmental cost of electric vehicles, the ROI on solar panels and the environmental cost, the actual passenger-miles per gallon of diesel for the city bus, and the like?

Say rAT? I was in the Navy, although not a SEAL.

Meet me for coffee. I’ll wear a Sun dress, drive a yellow Subaru and I bet you the deed to my lake house I’ll label you a pussy, and have you screaming like a weak bitch within 5 minutes. We’ll have witnesses to make the deal solid.

    You in?

Watched part of an interview of Ron DeSantis by Jim Cantore of Weather Channel. Very impressive. Too bad about the hurricane but the Governor is impressive.

  19. Ian Says:

Hey everyboy, I’ve been busy down in Florida, and taking a little break before heading to the Carolinas.

Klobuchar’s comments are nothing new. I recall when John Kerry’s running mate said this in the ’04 election: “Well, if we do the work that we can do in this country, the work that we will do when John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going to walk, get up out of that wheelchair and walk again.”

  20. Emery Says:

^^ DeSantis also voted against insurance funding for Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Great American..

“Biden’s declaration of a major disaster makes federal funding available to people in the counties of Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Hardee, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pinellas and Sarasota. The federal government will also cover costs of debris removal and emergency protective measures for 30 days, the White House said in a statement.”

Once every last collective effort has been made to rescue, clean up, and rebuild the state of Florida there needs to be a day of acknowledgement that the effective social safety nets that are taxpayer funded are important tools the federal government yields that collectively make society a better place to live for everyone.

Swift wrote: I was in the Navy, although not a SEAL.

Guys like Majewski, what they’re doing is shitting on every vet who served honorably. Who did the essential jobs nobody makes movies about, the ones that never get thanked, never get the medals, but those without whom the door kickers and the SEAL teams couldn’t fight.

Again, the guy served. When a lot of people didn’t and that should be enough. That’s what America says, right? But it’s not. And it’s not because of assholes just like Majewski and Swift who have turned service into some dick measuring contest.
