The hoax began late last year on a satirical website, claiming the suit was for $60 million. No suit was ever filed.

Probably the key tell is an actual apology and a number. Most corporate lawyers who settle these things don’t give either. It’s a shame, but it’s reality.

I proudly fly the flag in my front yard in a neighborhood where everyone else does as well. Having said that, I have a deep distrust of anyone who wears the term “Patriot” on Twitter.

I proudly fly a flag in my front yard too, Greg…but not the US national flag. That one is stored away as a memento, so that when I have grand kids, I can tell them about the country we used to have.
