  1. Hospitals need to stop accepting unvaccinated patients as part of crisis standards of care. Let them have their freedom.

  2. Sounds great.

That includes illegal aliens, right? Because they’re coming across the border by the tens of thousands, all unvaccinated, and using beds in American hospitals. We’re going to let them die because they’re unvaccinated, right?

Oh, and also children too young for the vaccine. We’re going to let them die too, right?

Oh, and people who cannot get the vaccine for medical reasons, we’re going to let them die, too. Right?

Making national public policy by sound bite is a snap.

Managing the consequences isn’t as easy as it looks.

  3. Yes, EI, that fits with the Hippocratic oath real well.

Regarding vaccination, the ugly reality is that it doesn’t seem to do much vs. the new variant, but our President talked as if vaccination was going to make all the difference this winter. The gap between rhetoric and reality is growing ever wider here, at least on the left.

  4. It’s the incompetence that gets you.
Biden’s Build Back Better legislation is dead in the water (again, as I predicted). Team Biden says he will introduce it again next year, but it would take a miracle for it to pass. There is no reason to expect it will pass next year. On the contrary, the tide is running against it.
People are now saying that Biden mishandled the politic of BBB because he did not understand how congressional politics works.
This, after 4 decades in DC, surrounded by the Democrats best and brightest.

  5. Covid now presents the sort of risk to most vaccinated people that we unthinkingly accept in other parts of life. And Covid isn’t going to disappear. In many ways, the future has arrived.

  6. You should probably learn to spell ‘can’ before you lob that sic burn.

Unvaxxed people are filling up hospital beds again, so it’s resulting in reduced services like surgeries for everybody else. Going without a vaccination can affect a lot more people than just you.

  7. I agree hospitals are short-staffed and cannot offer full services. Why?

I’ll bet a brand-new nickel that hospitals are short staffed because employees quit rather than get the jab, which reduces the hospital’s ability to offer services like ICU beds and surgeries. That’s not Covid’s fault and it’s not the unvaxxeds fault, that’s Brandon’s fault.

I’ll bet another nickel that hospitals aren’t filling with patients seeking treatment FOR Covid, they’re filling with patients seeking treatment for something else who just happen to test positive for Covid upon admission (or contract it while in the hospital). The Omicron variant is much milder than earlier versions – virtually nobody has died from it anywhere in the world – why would it be flooding hospitals now?

  8. You should probably learn to spell ‘can’ before you lob that sic burn.

It’s a quote you dumb fuck. You know, something someone else said that one wouldn’t want to compromise by editing… oh, yeah, sorry, as you’ve shown repeatedly, no, you don’t actually understand the whole quoting process.

Here, let me help, here’s an example. See how I provide a link so you can check me. And then, after that, I might include the text, in italics to mark the quote, as opposed to shit you might make up.
Cases in South Korea are up 400% in the past month and a half and are at all time highs, despite 99% mask compliance and over 84% of their population vaccinated, one of the highest rates in the world

Apparently Ron DeSantis has started taking over countries in Asia now too!
    [next tweet]
And unfortunately deaths in South Korea are also at the highest level they’ve ever been

I know it’s hard to be ethical and shit when you’re leftist prick, but I just know you learn it.

… oh, and please explain those numbers in South Korea. They don’t seem to match the lies you want to propagate.

  9. There are times when I feel sorry for conservatives who are painted with the same brush as the crazy fringe within their ranks.

  10. ^ Hahahaha!

It’s easier to understand the communist when you think of him as a robot who can only respond with the software he’s been programmed with. He can insult, change the subject, or lie. He cannot do anything else.

    Trump, Nazi, what about, etc..

  11. There are times when I feel sorry for conservatives who are painted with the same brush

Says the guy waving the spray can of paint wildly about.

  12. ^^ the one consistent thing you can count on is that Emery Will bring incoherence to any discussion.

  13. Hospitals need to stop accepting unvaccinated patients as part of crisis standards of care. Let them have their freedom.

Also, start letting people take HCQ and Ivermectin.

  14. And for god’s sake stop letting obese people into the hospital. Let them have their freedom to eat junk food. And smokers, they die out in the parking lot too. And gay men, HIV and all, dangerous lifestyle.

I do believe the troll is on to something. It’s called fascism, and it is what the American left aspires to be today.

  15. For reference, the latest data on COVID suggests that 44% of deaths and hospitalizations are among the fully vaccinated. So if we calculate relative risk, 44% among 61% vaccinated vs. 56% among 39% not fully vaccinated suggests about a 2:1 risk ratio, about the same as the difference between obesity + metabolic syndrome vs. good health, and somewhat less than the difference betwen “going outside a fair amount” and “staying inside all the time.”

Long and short of it is that it does appear that the vaccine loses its effectiveness pretty quickly compared to the ones we got as kids, and that’s something my pathologist friend tells me we ought to expect with any coronavirus–we get the same colds, more or less, all the time, in part because our immune response to these virii doesn’t last that long.

And Omicron doesn’t seem to mind the vaccine at all. So I guess if you want to promote gross ethical and moral violations through the government on the basis of scant evidence, Emery, be my guest, but don’t be surprised when I point out that’s what you’re doing.

  16. Observing Emery’s thought process is like watching a 3 legged gerbil in an exercise wheel.

  17. Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the RNA technology, cautioned against vaccinating children, because it can cause serious damage to their hearts and in the case of girls, their ovaries.

According to him and the data coming out of Hong Kong, the omicron variant infects people differently in that it doesn’t get into the deep lungs. It stays in the upper airway.

  18. Think of all the political capital wasted on this useless vax mandate.
I’ll say it again: these are unforced errors by the man at the top of the ticket, or the people he listens to, it doesn’t really matter.
Imagine the flailing & failing you will see from team Biden if the GOP takes congress next year.
Defending himself against the Hunter-is-the-bagman scandal will occupy 110% of Biden’s remaining brain power.

  19. The most successful covid variant will be the variant that infects everyone, doesn’t kill anyone, infects the vaccinated, and doesn’t make anyone take other measures to stop its spread.

  20. Given the poor track record of the “vaccine,” I suppose we’ll know that Biden’s handlers think it is time for him to to go when they start scheduling him for more “meet and greets.”
Old Slow Joe loves his meet and greets!

  21. I have 100% the same protection against the coof as the 80 IQ chuds that ran out to get the bug juice 8 months ago.

    Hahahahahahahahahaha! Howyoulikethemapples rAt Emery?

Hahahahahahahahaaaaa! Go get your booster, nitwit.

  22. At this point it is fair to say that the less effective the vaccine has proven to be, the more the Biden administration is pushing its vaccine mandate.
This illustrates how poor Biden’s thinking has been on the mandate. It will cause certain damage to people. Some people will say “I lost my job over the mandate!” but no one will say “I kept my job because of the mandate!,” or even “I didn’t get covid because of the mandate!”
The political and economic costs of the mandate are high, and do not increase or decrease with the effectiveness of the mandate.
The American people were very wise when they rejected Biden the candidate in 1988 and 2008. Biden does not understand the difference between leading people and ordering people around.

  23. The GOP and quite a few of SiTD’s comrades made a calculation early on regarding the pandemic and it has backfired on them, and now they are stuck keeping their pride intact at the cost of their own lives.

  24. ↑↑ Does anyone understand what the troll is blathering about now?

This is the guy who was wrong about Brexit and wrong about Hillary winning over Trump in a landslide.

  25. Appeals Court Reinstates Biden Covid-19 Vaccine Rules for Large Employers
    https://www.wsj.com/articles/appeals-court-reinstates-biden-administration-covid-19-vaccine-rules-for-large-employers-11639787840?mod=mhp

    “unadorned by precedent”
    That’s a keeper.

Refreshing to see the Sixth Circuit slap around the Fifth’s obtuse reasoning, which seemed pretty clearly to have been reverse engineered to justify the preferred ruling. As it turns out there is a difference between writing a judicial opinion and writing an op-ed.

  26. MP, Emery’s sole reason for participating in these threads is to ensure that any discussion careers sharply toward incoherence.

  27. The anti-mandate rulings are 2 for 3.
We can assume that Biden chose the OSHA regulation route because to go through a mandate from the CDC or through congress would have ran into more problems with the courts. You can read the Congressional Research Sevice’s ideas on the tools the feds have to enforce a vaccine mandate here:
    https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/R/R46745

In theory, we are a nation ruled by law, and not some guy named Joe.

  28. IDGAF what the courts say. I’ll never shoot the bug juice, wear the face diaper or curtail my movements.

We’re ready to be as independent as anyone can be. Fuck Pedo Joe and all who control him.

    Bring it. We’re ready.

  29. And Manchin nails the coffin lid shut on Biden’s “Build Back Better” legislation:
Sen. Joe Manchin says he won’t vote for Biden’s Build Back Better Act, potentially killing the social and climate bill
    https://www.cnbc.com/2021/12/19/sen-joe-manchin-says-he-wont-vote-for-bidens-build-back-better-act.html

This is another unforced error by Team Biden.
If Trump is elected again in 2024, the reason will be Biden and the idiot Democrat voters who ignored the evidence of 4 decades that Biden is an incompetent fool.

  30. So the covid panic folks have a problem — the fully vaccinated are dying in large numbers. How large? The depends on the numbers you use. I like to use the British numbers because they have one health service so the numbers are consistent. In Britain, if you die within 28 days of testing positive for covid, it is counted as a covid death.
The problem is that the actual covid deaths aren’t that high, and never have been.
In the first week of December this year, their were about 1,000 covid deaths in all of the UK, out of a population that is a bit less than seventy million. This means that in the UK the chance of your dying of covid during the first week of December was about 1/70,000.
But in the UK, as in the US, the media, politicians, and “public health officials,” have created a panic situation where people believe that their personal chances of dying from covid are an order of magnitude or more greater than it really is.
The numbers from the UK say that if you are over sixty and are fully vaxxed, you are 1/5 as likely to die from covid than an unvaxxed person over sixty. The advantage falls to 1/3 if you are over eighty and vaxxed.
So the messaging job of the covid-crazies in the UK is that if you are not vaxxed you face a winter of disease and death, but, some how, 1/5 or 1/3 of disease and death is no problems, good health.

  31. MP, I’ve read that Fauxcahontas (triple vaxxed) has suffered a “breakthrough” case of the coof.

The only part of that that makes me sad is, she’ll get the kitchen sink (Ivermectin; HQL; monoclonal antibodies; IV vitamin D & zinc) and we wont be able to point out how CNN doesn’t use her death to mock her, as they do vax critics.

So in lieu of hearing her sing her Cherokee Death Song, we’ll have to entertain ourselves with the sound of her coffing up buckets of green bile from her rotten lungs.

    Se la vie.

  32. Oh, Biden’s incompetence isn’t random, but rather terribly consistent. Are they doing something? Then it’s FUBAR.

We seriously need to get some weed into his pudding so he might have a chance of bumbling into doing something right.
