Crime in Minneapolis is running, at last look, ahead of “Murderapolis” levels.

And so an angry, fearful county looks to the true source of all of its crime problem.

Lake Minnetonka:

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office Water Patrol Unit has been hard at work this summer, because of a growing problem on Lake Minnetonka.

Law enforcement says people there are breaking the law by renting out boats without first having them inspected. Some of the boats were also being operated by people without the proper licensing.

To be fair, perhaps their intelligence group has found evidence that gangbangers are chartering boats to settle beeves with each other, pirate style.

  1. Geez, man, free money is floating around that lake looking for a home. Mpls has made it clear that it’s got everything under control. I’ll even bet the scofflaws can pay the fines out of the loose change in their pocket. I guess I don’t understand your problem?

  2. What we have here is clearly the roots of white supremacy. First its boats, then a man’s mind isn’t right.

  3. You know, if there were a few real crimes on the water in Minnetonka, I’d guess that those who otherwise might be in favor of the DFL regime in Minneapolis might reconsider. Something along the lines of “S***, this stuff isn’t just happening in North Minneapolis anymore!”.
