Walter Duranty Calls Down From The Great Beyond, Says “Whoah, Dial Back The Sycophancy!”

By Mitch Berg

This WaPo tweet reads precisely like something you’d have read in the USSR in the ’30s, or in North Korea today:

Poverty “was”, past tense, “cut sharply”?

By $1,400 checks that haven’t been delivered yet?

Kim Jong Un doesn’t think he’s that badass.

Apparently Biden and Bruce Springsteen plan to record and release a cover of Huey Long’s big hit “Every Man A King.”

Given Duranty’s love of Communism and its horrors, I’d dare suggest he’s dialing up from where he is. Just sayin’.

    Gifts! Gifts from the Capitol!

We’ll find out later that the “shower” of money was actually a golden shower from our masters.

Brown shower when we find out it took something like $5600 to send out every $1400, no, Scott? “Gravity’s Rainbow” hideous scene and all?

I’m personally trying to do what I can with “my” portion, whatever that is, to mitigate its effects on my family. It is sad to be “thankful” that my interest rates I’m paying on my debt are higher than the government gives for bonds, but there you go.

What’s $1400 buy these days? Two pairs of Air Jordan’s? What about the baby mammas with six kids? Two get the shoes, the other four have to go out and steal their own from kids down the block.

    I just read this:

‘DROP IN THE BUCKET’ Black Americans who will get $25,000 each as part of $10million in reparations from city say it’s not enough

SOME black Americans living in Evanston, Illinois, who will be given $25,000 each as part of the city’s $10million reparations program don’t think it’s enough.

The payout is supposed to make amends for the racist housing policies in the city, north of Downtown Chicago, and a reparations program was established in 2019 – but some activists don’t think it’s sufficient.

Crank up those printing machines, boys. We gonna need more cash, and plenty of it.
