#Unexpected

President Biden admits the nation is powerless to change the trajectory of the virus.

He did not specifically concede President Trump was right all along, did everything he could, and nobody could have done anything better.  But giving up the fight two days after taking office means President Biden has no plan to defeat the virus because a virus cannot be defeated, it can only be endured.

It would have been nice if he had said that before the election but hey, better late than never, right?

Joe Doakes

It’s worse than that. Throughout the campaign, he croaked “I have a plan” for Covid.

He knew is was BS.

The people who wrote, and continue to write, everything he says, and control his “administration”, knew it too.

They could all count on one increasingly irreducible fact – a majority of Democrat voters are emotion-driven muppets with the critical thinking skills of barn-raised turkeys.

  1. Covid cases (tho not yet deaths) have fallen off a cliff since January 11th.
That is true in the US, the UK, and Germany. The decline for all three nations began on the same date — January 11th — regardless of each country’s lockdown regime.
The great conceit of our 21st century ruling class is their belief that if they can control the inputs, they can control the outputs.

  2. But it can’t work, NW.
The elites ignore their past failures. They have no genius, the system they have created rewards conformity and group think.
These elites think that they are the cool, hip guys of Delta Tau Chi, but they are Omega Theta Pi men, through and through.

  3. MP’s right about the # of cases, and deaths appear to be falling, too. Given, though, that the death rate has lagged the infection rate, I can’t shake the suspicion that somebody decided to drop the # of tests in early January. I hope and pray that it’s the vaccine going to the right people, but if the death rate doesn’t start to drop sharply soon, we’re going to need to ask some questions.

And if it is the vaccine going to the right people prior to Biden’s inauguration, that puts him in the tough spot of needing to acknowledge who gets the credit–Le Grand Orange.

  4. WHO changed definition of what constitutes a COVID case on Jan 7th. Did you guys miss that piece of news? It was ALL over the MSM!

Finally, something for the working people of Ohio and North Dakota to celebrate after years of being overlooked and derided by the elites.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner disclosed receiving between $23,791,645 and $120,676,949 in combined outside income during 2020 and January, 2021

  6. ^^blather. I have no idea what Emery means in that comment. It’s like he randomly picked a few words out of the dictionary.
Emery does not really believe that I thought Trump’s family were poor people. Hell, I am not a poor person, I have a million bucks. But I am not an elite. I expect no one to doff their hat to me.

And in desperate need of medication.
I think we can see how bad it is.

Reasonable Person: “Your candidate lied to you, throughout the entire campaign, and it’s obvious to everyone.”
OrangeManBad Junkie: “YOU guys are trying to change the subject from what preoccupies my entire consciousness! Trump! AaaAAaah!”
