What A Difference Four Years Makes

The New York Times, 2020: “Our elections are unimpeachably honest and fair and not problematic at all”.

New York Times, 2016: “Not only did the Russians install Donald Trump, but we’ll show you how they probably did it by doing it ourselves:

I could keep saying “Democrats and the NYTimes (ptr) can reverse themselves all they want, because their target audience is unthinking lemmings”…

…but I’m starting to feel like I’m repeating myself.

  1. You know, it’s interesting if you think about those two quotes that it implies that over the last four years Trump fixed the entire election process. Probably won’t get any credit for that either.

  2. If $250,000 of poorly produced facebook ads swung the election to Trump in 2016, imagine how many electoral votes Trump would be stacking up without 24/7, 365 Trump hatred broadcast by the MSM (news and entertainment) and pushed by corporations on social media.

  3. 👆I feel that these two sentences from Volume II of the Mueller report have not gotten anything like the attention they deserve.

“As described in Volume I, the evidence uncovered in the investigation did not establish that the President or those close to him were involved in the charged Russian computer-hacking or active-measure conspiracies, or that the President otherwise had an unlawful relationship with any Russian official. But the evidence does indicate that a thorough FBI investigation would uncover facts about the campaign and the President personally that the President could have understood to be crimes or that would give rise to personal and political concerns.” ~ Volume II, p,76

And: “If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so,” ~ Robert Mueller

Emery reminds us that Mueller (or Andy Weissmann, to be more accurate) found no crimes and nothing that would give rise to political and personal concerns.
But maybe an imaginary investigation would? Whoever actually wrote the quoted words, they weren’t very smart. Or maybe they spoke English as a 2nd language?

  5. I realize this is off topic, but anyone watching the PA legislature hearing? It’s a nice shot in the arm heading into a long weekend.

  6. 👆Some confusion out there. Let me see if this helps:

The following states have certified their presidential election results with Biden as the winner.

    ✅Georgia (on-going recount)

    ✅Michigan

    ✅Minnesota

    ✅Nevada

    ✅Pennsylvania

AZ and WI are on track to certify next week.

  7. Sorry to burst your balloon there commie boy, but a judge in PA stopped the certification.

Emery, I find that the hypocrisy of both you and Paddywhacker, to be mind boggling. You just can’t admit to yourselves that your communist leaders could ever commit a crime, yet you will believe outright lies about the right, without any critical thought. Of course, you lefties aren’t known for having any common sense.

  8. 2 points:

    1. They’re beating a dead horse in the Pennsylvania GOP circus sideshow. It’s embarrassing and shameful.

    2. Pennsylvania Court DENIES Trump appeal of the Bucks County Board of Elections decision to count ballots that the GOP claimed were deficient.
“Absolutely no allegations of any fraud, impropriety, misconduct or undue influence…” Judge Renee Cohn Jubelirer

Trump and his allies are 1-37 in post election litigation. Sometimes I worry these lawyers don’t have enough work.

BH 429: The lawsuit today affects down ballot not presidential. This is another reminder that there is a big difference between alleging fraud inside a Wyndham Hotel conference room and inside a court of law—which the Trump campaign keeps declining to do.
