   And the US hasn’t ever participated? Might be they don’t want an Abrams (the US version, not what gets shipped to allies) over there.

   A military event that is frequently televised in the Best Ranger Competition. Not as exciting as tanks running and gunning, but super impressive seeing what extent those guys can push the body to.

   Fun, but it strikes me as the equivalent of a slightly more active May Day parade, one where I notice that the best tanks are all driven by the Russians. No need to show them up close, of course, which vehicle outclasses the T-72 by many miles, no?
