White Supremacist is the epithet du jour, which Liberals paste everywhere as gleefully and randomly as my grand-daughter with a new sticker book.
But what does it mean, White Supremacist? Traditionally, it was the belief that White people were superior to other races, that something in their genetic make up or possibly in their culture, made them capable of achieving more success for more people than any other race or culture on Earth.
Nowadays, of course, such a belief would be a hate crime against humanity. It’s unthinkable to suggest that races or cultures differ (or that they even exist at all). But if what if the belief was correct? Can you prove it’s not?
Suppose you treated it as a science problem and tried to apply the scientific method? There are two possible causes – race and culture. Limit one variable at a time.
Hypothesis: Western Civilization has produced more success measured by greater wealth, better health, wider spread learning, and more freedom for the people living under it, than any other culture has produced for its own people, in the history of the world.
How would you falsify the proposition? What evidence would you seek?
If you couldn’t falsify the proposition, that wouldn’t prove it’s true. Maybe you just didn’t find the correct evidence. But if you gave it an honest effort and still couldn’t prove the claim was false, then shouldn’t you concede the possibility that the claim could be true?

It’d be an interesting experiment on its own – and moreso to combine it with observing the reactions of people reading the thesis.
Remember – “Western Civilization” isn’t inextricably “White”. There was no virtue specific to caucasian genetics that made Western Civilization happen, any more than black or Asian genetics made it impossible. It was a combination of social factors that made improving the human condition a virtue, made improvement of technology desirable and profitable, and made social self-examination the vogue for at least a while. Africans can do democracy and free markets – check out Botswana, which has been a constitutional democracy since independence, and stable and prosperous, especially by sub-saharan standards, to boot.
Had Judeo-Christianity’s ennoblement of the individual mixed with a series of tribes that valued individual merit over “will to power” and heredity in, say, India or Sub-Saharan Africa or China, and Northern Europe remained mired in Dark-Ages-style warlordism, it’s entirely likely caucasoid citizens of a free, prosperous, democratic India or Nigeria or China could be barbering about “brown supremacy” today.
“White Privilege” is so powerful and pervasive that Asian-Americans have adopted it as their own. How did they get so clever? Must have something to do with race.

In 1994, Richard J. Herrnstein and political Charles Murray conducted careful and thorough scientific research on IQ. It included a section on race which was copiously earmarked with guidance on how to take the findings, and how not to.

The argument against race awareness is not valid scientifically, but it does carry legitimate moral baggage. For the past couple decades, leftist social engineers and woke researchers have sought to exploit the latter to gaslight the former.
Reading through their exhortations, one can almost feel their discomfort as they weave and dodge around the blindingly obvious truth.

Since the dawn of time, men with greater cognitive gifts, and not just Caucasians, have exploited men with lesser, and not just Negroes, in the worst possible ways.
Judging harshly the behavior racial superiority has enabled and encouraged is not only justified, its morally imperative; but denying the scientific and biological truth behind it is just as wrong.
The key is recognizing the truth, as well as the duty of all humans to treat one another respecrfully, as long as respect is reciprocated. Respect doesn’t require trading Western culture and tradition in favor of 3rd World shitholes.
I like Merg’s last 2 paragraphs there. There is a part of the right that is very preoccupied with racial cognitive science. The empiricals these guys want to point out are rather low value, unseemly, and ugly. Ya know, ya, there are probably observations that can be made about intelligence within racial cognitive science, but the truth there of western civ being superior is at odds with the other truth, which is the Asians are smarter than the Europeans. I’m inclined to believe the onthological truth is our cognitive differences aren’t enough to make a difference, and that in Europe running a lot of cattle / eating beef and having a messy religious situation nonetheless tethered to Christianity did us very well.

Discarding decades of social indoctrination isn’t easy, I know. But at some point a guy has to find the testicular fortitude to just refuse to go along any longer.
Start by comparing Plato to the intellectual output of Africa, even 1000 years after he was dead. Hell, compare him to Somali intellectuals today!

That’s what the research has shown, but we needent even rely on it. History shows us that China and Japan had thriving cultures, literature, art, science long before Western Europe did.
But the West did catch up, and exceed them scientifically, eventually. Africa still hasn’t reached the cultural sophistication of the Qin Dynasty.

If inequality is a fact on the group scale, it is a fact on the small scale as well. If Canadians are inferior to Americans because Americans are more accomplished, a stupid American is still inferior to a smarter Canadian.
My little stack of lifetime accomplishments doesn’t amount to much. I am not going to claim the right to be proud because I share a genetic profile with the guys who created calculus and wrote “Ode to Joy.”

The economic historian Niall Ferguson says that NW Europe has dominated the world only since the 1600s. He gives most of the credit to the Reformation — not because the Reformation was correct, theologically, but because it created a unique environment where a free society and free markets could thrive. Especially credit goes to:
-Rule of Law and secure personal property rights.
-Political and economic rivalry between political states
-Universal literacy
-Access to abundant natural resources
-The rise of the bourgeois (e.g., an educated middle class)
-The adoption of a materialist, scientific world view.
Ferguson admits that there is a bit of a “magic factor” as well (something he could not identify). These factors were potentially able to occurr anywhere, any time in the last few thousand years. The Romans and the Chinese possessed many of them (but not all).
We live in a world of miracles and wonders, don’t we?
