Funny! Obama gave them out to drooling sycophants that either donated money to either him or the party or giving him his expected adoration.
Granted, Trump and Tiger have known each other for years, but I haven’t been able to find that Tiger donated to Trump.

Hey, Paul Krugman was awarded a Nobel Prize for Economics in 2008 which means he is really smart, so we should respect his opinions, even if those opinions are in fields other than economics.
By the same vein, we have to respect the opinions and intelligence of William Shockley who received the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1956.
Uh, hold on a second, that can’t be right…
Shockley thought impure thoughts.
So does that mean a person can be really, really, really smart and talented in one thing and an utter dolt in almost everything else?

The Nobel Prize is looking like a participation trophy.

I normally scoff at this Presidential Medal of Freedom stuff but I genuinely was moved watching the presentation at the White House.
In the ceremony, President Trump mentioned that three other golfers have won the prize making four in all including Tiger.
What is wrong with this list?
1) Arnold Palmer
2) Jack Nicklaus
3) Charley Sifford
4) Tiger Woods
Anyway, it took guts for Tiger to stand proudly next to President Trump knowing the cries of Uncle Tom were about to be hurled at him.
Now that we’ve had the first Black/Asian American golfer as winner of the medal, I eagerly await the first Polish American to be allowed onto the grounds at Augusta.

What’s obviously wrong with that list is there is no women, much less any women with multiple Intersectional adjectives. This is just proof that President Trump really actually, like, wants to keep trans women barefoot, pregnant, & in the kitchen making him a sandwich while wearing Handmaid’s robes.

For me, the Presidential Medal of Freedom has always seemed to be a “you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours” kind of thing whereby Presidents often confer the honor to either associate themselves with someone who is currently respected (e.g. Trump/Woods) or confer it to confer faux respectability on another (e.g. Biden getting it from Obama).
And so I do not precisely care much about it, or for it.
