State Of The Media

That feeling when you have a hard time telling the difference between the satire sites and the “news“.

I would check to make sure I put the right link with the right story – but what difference, at this point, does it make?

(Yes, I know the “real” news was from four years ago, and rated an apology. Doesn’t change my point).

  1. “/The Mainstream Media is out of control. They constantly lie and cheat in order to get their Radical Left Democrat views out their for all to see. It has never been this bad. They have gone bonkers, & no longer care what is right or wrong. This large scale false reporting is sick!”/ Donald J Trump @realDonaldTrump

So says @realDonaldTrump, a pathological liar with no peer.

  2. I can’t recall a president who has lied to the point where a paragraph starts with “I didn’t know” and ends with “Of course I knew”.

Trump lies about lying. And the faithful knows he lies. They just don’t care.

  3. Hmm, generally speaking, E’s preferred method of arguing is to fling wild accusations like monkeys fling poo in the hope that something will stick. But this last comment is about the nearest I can see to an actual reference or proof of something that Trump did. But I looked around here and I don’t see anything that fills the description above. Am I missing something? I’m sure E wouldn’t just simply make up something.

  4. When Trump leaves office he should start a line of greeting cards for subliterate sociopaths—he’d corner that market.😉

  5. If I thought Trump was as bad as Emery thinks he is, I would emigrate & renounce my citizenship. Imagine having to share a country with the people who elected Trump! And may elect him again!

  6. To quote Heath Ledgers Joker “Some people just want to watch the world burn” I am at that point, I just dont care anymore.

  7. If Trump were any other President (Republican or Democrat) with the US economy where it is today, he’d be at 60% or 65% approval, not 45%. He can win again because the alternatives are laughable.

  8. well if he had 50/50 MSM coverage Emery he probably would be at 60% approval. When the MSM has 93-97% negative coverage (depending on which poll you look at) and you STILL have a approval rating near 50% that is impressive in itself.

  9. Uh….Emery…………

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Americans’ trust and confidence in the mass media “to report the news fully, accurately and fairly” has dropped to its lowest level in Gallup polling history, with 32% saying they have a great deal or fair amount of trust in the media. This is down eight percentage points from last year. source

When Trump consistently polls higher than the media, it kinda answers the question, “who lies more?”

  10. There are moderates running for prez on the D side — Biden, Howard, and Hickenlooper. Biden’s moderation always has been an illusion. The only people who call him “Lunch Box Joe” are journalists. Today’s Democrat party has veered crazy left since 2016. Biden can’t run on a strong law enforcement record, since to be pro law enforcement is the same as being anti-Black to the loonies who run the Democrat Party.
If you want to know why the popular D candidates are radical, look at their base. GOP primary voters and delegates tend to be business people or religious conservatives. Democrat primary voters and delegates tend to be political activists, academics, government employees, or all three. What do you suppose the ratio of non heterosexual to heterosexuals are D party activists vs. the R party activists? Recall that people who identify as non heterosexuals represent less than 5% of the American population.
Not that there is anything wrong with that. It does make me wonder, though, why so many dem delegates choose jobs where they can’t be fired for scaring the customers.

MP, come on the answer is obvious. They arent qualified to do much else.

  12. MP and POD hit an important point: Liberals don’t have customers, they have serfs.

In the past, a certain local governmental unit’s Mission was to Delight Our Customer. Management told employees “We may not be able to give them what they want; but when they leave, they’ll know their concerns were heard, know why we can’t give them what they want, and know what can be done about it.”

Nowadays, that unit’s Mission is Racial Justice and Diversity in the Workforce. The word “customer” has disappeared. The unspoken underlying attitude seems to be “What are they going to do, take their business elsewhere? Pay their taxes in Duluth? Record their deeds in St. Cloud? They can’t. They have to come to us, to do business on our terms, they have no option to leave so we have no need to please them.”

Which is exactly how Liberals in politics see the public – serfs, bound to the land, subject to the whim of their masters. It might also explain why so many public school staff are Liberals and so many electricians are not.
