Assault

SCENE: Mitch BERG is out dropping literature for a candidate for the Minnesota state House of Representatives. As he walks toward a door, he encounters Avery LIBRELLE, carrying a shopping bag full of campaign literature.

LIBRELLE: Merg!

BERG: Oh, Chriiiiistchurch New Zealand is beautiful this time of year, hey, Avery, how…

LIBRELLE: Shut up. Paul Pelosi was attacked by a MAGAt terrorist who represents the inner id of all Republican scumbags, something that every voter needs to remember as we head towards a midterm election where some polls are showing democracy itself is a threat from slack-jawed, drooling yokels in red caps.

BERG: “Uh, there’s no evidence that DePape was a Republican or conservative in any…”

LIBRELLE: “He was an old man who was attacked, and all you can think is politics?”

BERG: (Glances into LIBRELLE’s shopping bag) Uh, Avery, that’s all Republican literature…

But LIBRELLE is already scampering down the road

And SCENE.

  1. years ago the accepted practice was always accept the other sides expensive campaign literature when offered and then safely dispose of it to prevent innocent voters from being misled

nowadays the accepted practice seems to be to set fire to your own lawn sign, photograph it burning and then slander your opponent as a domestic terrorist to intentionally mislead innocent voters

i liked the old way better

  2. Dan Rather was taken down by internet sleuths. The undapants hammer dude narrative is going down the same way. They have really screwed the pooch this time.

“The images on the Frenzyfrenz site are creepy and we were unable to locate them elsewhere on the Internet. This indicates that they were created by the individual or group who updated the website.”

“That’s because all those images were created using a relatively new AI image generator, and don’t exist naturally.

There’s some telltale signs, such as the way it mottles the definition around necklines, how skull-like two of the images are, or how in the images with the light-flare, they all extend in bright radians from the center, outward.

These are all AI-generated images. Probably DALL-E 2. All the aforementioned characteristics are telltale markers for DALL-E 2 images. Compare to the recent “Selfies at the end of the world” trend that went viral, and note the sunken eyes and high cheekbones on many of the images. Same exact thing we’re seeing here:

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-11062011/AI-asked-generate-images-selfies-taken-produces-nightmarish-results.html

Of course, using DALL-E 2 requires the user to make an account.

Which has only been publicly available since September 28th. Prior to that, you needed one of the million exclusive waitlisted beta account – available from July.

Now look at the dates of the posts on the screencap.

This means, if DALL-E 2 was used to create these images, these images probably still exist in its storage systems, along with a record of who created them.

Which means, whoever made this images probably had a beta account, which means the user account for whoever made this content could possibly be found from a much smaller subset of data (the original million beta accounts), if the right court order were issued. Along with IP information, potentially payment information, etc. Potentially.”

    What is the frequency, Kenneth?

  3. Just posted something of great interest, directly related to the GOP Undapants Hammer Dude narrative. Have no idea why Berg’s censor bot didn’t like it….but I could guess.

Bet you can guess too, when it get sprung.

  4. Blade, we’ve seen this kind of internet sleuthing before.

“Obama’s Hawaii Birth Certificate created in Photoshop”

Once the digging gets too technical for low information voters to be able to follow, the left deflects with “Tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorists”.
