PS: No, it’s not. I know you’re not paid to think about these things; yours is not to reason why. But those who support you? Maybe not in your stu-foresaken district, but in the rest of Minnesota? There might be hope. And so I write.

I don’t want to get paid for flipping burgers, let the machine do that.
I want to get paid for NOT flipping burgers, like farmers who get paid for not growing crops or raising animals.
Tax the rich and pay me not to work. Sounds fair to me. Get Winkler on it.

Most politicians are appallingly ignorant of basic economics, but Winkler is a class unto himself. To borrow a quote from “Chinatown,” he’s dumber than he thinks I think he is.
