Shot in the Dark

Why I’m Voting GOP, Part II

Because there’s an election denial problem – among Democrats…

…that they’re trying to project onto the right.

Because I’ve got your “Amnesty for using Covid as a cover for the most immense peacetime power grab in history” right here:

Because Keith Ellison french-kissed “Anti”-Fa…

…and they returned the favor with a night of “mostly peaceful protest” that did this…

…three blocks from my house.

Because when you scratch the surface with the most prominent, outspoken thought leaders of the Democrat party, from Kamala Harris to Jamar Nelson, you find an undercurrent of hatred for the American experiment…

…and the rule of law…

…and, for that matter, their fellow Americans…

Collins2

Because while work themselves into McCarthyist glee referring to people as “fascists”…

…it is in fact they who seek to enforce acquiescence – whether via blandishments or violence, the Left doesn’t care.

Because America has built back battered…

…and it’s not sustainable.

Because America has a problem with racism – on the left, in places like New York City…:

https://twitter.com/toddstarnes/status/1589440374069940225

…and Apple Valley:

…and the response of our “enlightened” ruling classes ranges from the trite:

to the very trite…

…to the, uh, opportunistic, exploitive and cynical.

Because for all of Governor Klink’s yapping about “fully funding education”, the system in Minnesota (outside the parts where the upper-middle-class white DFLer live) is broken…

…and no wonder, since the adults running the system are themselves, while highly schooled, very poorly educated:

To complete the job of contesting control of the party with those who should have nothing to do with conservative politics and make sure those among us who are inclined to giving the party self-inflicted wounds…

…are ushered out without ceremony.

Because whoever you are, where-ever you are, you are not better off than you were four years ago, unless you work for a Democrat non-profit.

Today will be the straightest ticket ever.

There’s a columnist for WaPo, a Harry Olsen, who predicted that Republicans would likely gain between 31 and 40 House seats and will retake control of the Senate, gaining two to four seats. He warned the GOP Congress, however, to not indulge in “base-pleasing partisan overreach” or it will lose its majority again.

I think there’s a lesson here because what I think is coming in 2023 going to be Hell on Earth, as bad as the Great Depression. I am guessing that the Democrats are going to make it all fall on the Republicans who will be “given” the responsibility to fix it all. Which is basically impossible in 2 years without the presidency. This means that the “independent” vote will be split. Some of those who vote Republican in 2022 are going to be angry in 2024 and the only place to get votes will be an excited Republican base.

Hence, the warning. Meaning that if the Republicans *don’t* indulge in “base-pleasing partisan overreach”, the base will be angry too and everything will be lost in 2024.

I voted bright and early to make sure I did my patriotic duty. My coworker just posted to social media that she is taking her retarded son to vote. He’s not capable of independent living, got a special certificate from school because he couldn’t pass any classes, works at UPS sorting boxes, but has never been adjudicated incompetent so his vote counts as much as mine.

Couldn’t be more proud to be a Minnesota voter today.

My coworker just posted to social media that she is taking her retarded son to vote.

So, she’s committing vote fraud under cover of authority. She’s also using her retarded son like rAT Emery uses a hammer…a tool to use in an unwholesome manner.

I’ve been informed the word retarded is insensitive. Apparently we are now supposed to note this young man is somewhere on the autism spectrum through no fault of his own, and thus in need of assistance at every phase of life including inside the voting booth. It seems being unable to speak coherent sentences, keep your hands to yourself, or control angry outbursts is no reason you can’t be president. Or to vote. My comment was inappropriate. I shouldn’t have called the kid retarded. I regret the error.

Wait a minute. All this early voting and absentee voting business, with totals not known for days or weeks is supposed to strengthen the confidence in “our democracy.” The elites told us so!

I’m just going to come right out and say it. If the Dems lose big tonight, Hillary, not Biden, should become the face of the Democrat party. Also, If Fetterman does not beat Oz in PA, Fetterman should replace that confused negro girl as the voice of the Biden administration. I am not certain, tho, if the current woke calculus puts a brain damaged trust fund white guy over or under a POC immigrant lesbian.
Perhaps Emery do the calculation for us?

Just a point of reference. In the elections that matter to me and mine, the results were decided in the primaries. We’re good.

That’s because I don’t live among mongrels or degenerates.

    Y’all sleep tight.

A friend tells me that in bright red Chisago County, MN, election officials have brought in more volunteers and ballot counting machines to reduce the long wait times (more than an hour) to vote.

Well, as of right now, the Red Wave isn’t happening. Cromagnon Fetterman has a big lead over Oz and the transplanted Californicators in Colorado re-elected left wing gay trust funder Jared Polis. And, it looks like Michiganders and cheeseheads want to be led around by their noses.

From my perspective down in the Tar Heel State, my decision to relocate is a winner on the local level. I guess things haven’t gotten bad enough In Minnesota for the inmates to revolt. I’m not looking forward to observing the carnage. In four years things may be too far gone to reverse.

Our friends to the North are holding their own, but we worry about them, golfdoc.

The metro areas of NC have become real cesspools. My wife absolutely refuses to go to Asheville, which we used to do regularly on rides through the mountains, except for dinner at the Grove Park Inn.

The good news is, the Charlotte metro is just about built out now, so maybe it’s as bad as it’s gonna get.

(I’ll be in Rockingham today, btw.)
