The End Of The Beginning

I believe there was massive fraud in this election. I believe President
Trump will fight it in the courts. I don’t know if he will win. But
even if he doesn’t, things are going to be okay.

Shouting aside, it seems each state makes their own rules on who can
vote, how votes are counted, and what it takes to set aside the results
of the election. I don’t know the standards of evidence required or the
procedures to be followed. None of the Instant Experts on the internet
seem to know, either.

Assuming the worst – that Biden is certified as the winner and sworn in
as President – what then?

Really, not much. I’ve lived under Democrat regimes pretty much my
entire life. They’ve always been morons and the younger ones are
getting worse, but I don’t think the people behind the scenes are ready
to let them destroy the country, yet. That’s why Bernie got the axe in
the primaries and Biden became the nominee. They needed someone
moderate-looking to hoax the yokels a while longer.

I still believe the Covid crisis was a political crisis manufactured to
justify mailed ballots to steal the election (I didn’t think it would be
so brazen). The lock-downs will continue during the Fourth Quarter to
make Trump’s economic numbers look bad. But when Biden is sworn in,
he’ll need to start generating good economic numbers to help Democrats
in the 2022 mid-terms. Covid will become just a bad flu, something we
must live with, restrictions will be lifted.

I assume Biden/Harris will resume meddling in foreign affairs. I’ll urge
my grandkids NOT to enlist because it’ll be too risky. Not risk of dying
in defense of our nation, that’s defensible; risk they’ll be sent to die
in some shit-hole Third World nation defending some pie-in-the-sky
notion of Utopia dreamed up by bureaucrats. At least President Trump is
trying to get us out of those places now, before he leaves office.
That’s a good start. If he can ram through a whole bunch more federal
judges before he goes, that’ll help a lot.

I assume Biden/Harris will be urged to raise taxes, ban guns, eliminate
cars, and endless other foolishness but I assume the adults in the
Senate will block that. As the pundit says, gridlock is the next best
thing to Constitutional government.

All in all, I’m not despondent. I think President Trump’s super-power
was to so enrage the Left they tore off their own masks, letting
sensible people see how bat-sh*t crazy they are. I think that opened a
lot of eyes, hopefully to continue in future elections as the cultural
pendulum swings back to sanity.

Fear not. This too shall pass.

Joe Doakes

I agree.

I also believe the natural “progressive” urge to overreach, combined with the customary crash at the polls for the President’s party in the 2022 midterms – which, given the burgeoning extremism of the left, could rival 2010 – has the potential to be epic.

  1. You were hoping for different points of view? Well, my opinion is that if this is not called out and dealt with now, that there’s no sense having any more elections. Why would you if they aren’t free and fair? This is the hill to rally on.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

  2. I agree with shaking.

If the communists get the senate, they will ram through the entire left wing agenda, including making the District of Crooks and Puerto Rico states. If that happens, our country is gone. We’ll never see any other candidate that the one put up by the Democrats.

That said, a friend of mine, that is connected to the national security community, posited: if the left is so sure that Biden and Harris have this thing sewn up, why hasn’t she resigned from the Senate? They are running in warp speed to get the entire corrupt deep state cabal assembled, so it’s strange. His conclusion is that they know that they lost, their cover is blown and they’re trying to put on a great face for their base. Oh, and this friend was once one of the most progressive Democrats that I know personally. His turning point was the baseless four year coup against Trump by every lefty and their brother, yet he has accomplished a ton. Also, on JD’s thought train, he has two sons serving in the military.

  3. Well that sounds swell, except that’s not what’s going to happen.

First of all, if this theft of Democracy is left to stand, we will never, ever have an honest election again. In fact, it will continue to get worse. You can forget about holding the Senate.

Second, you forget that Sniffin Joe’s mediocre cognitive function is in rapid decline. There is just no way he makes it through to ‘24.

That leaves Karmalla in charge. It will be a free-for-all in any case, but a loss of even 1 GOP Senator in Georgia will mean an all out offensive against every Armerican tradition. The borders will be thrown wide open.

It will also bring an escalated time table for the removal of white people from positions of power, and from society in general.

These waters are not uncharted. We’ve seen ships of state sail them in Venezuela, Rhodesia, Guatemala, Panama and other 3rd world shitholes. Many EU countries are navigating them now.

My money man recommends buying gold and silver, and getting the hell away from government bonds.

  4. JD wrote: “The fight back has commenced in earnest. Here is the Complaint filed by Sidney Powell in the Federal Court for the Northern District in Georgia.”

It reads like it was a draft by Judge Jeanine after a Black Friday sale at Total Wine. Oddly, there are no court filing marks on it.

Powell spelled “district” wrong in two different ways on the very first page of her latest blockbuster lawsuit that’s definitely gonna flip the election for Trump in Georgia I mean it’s just impressive. lmao 😂

Pretty sure JD’s undergrad Contract Law Professor would have just failed him if he ever spelled district “distrcoict” in a paper.

  5. It strikes me as odd that in the 21st century we haven’t figured out how to hold national elections in a reliably secure fashion. I believe there are sufficient numbers of political operatives on both sides who want things to be loose in case an election result needs to be challenged. Biden will be certified but it’s a Pyrrhic victory for his party. SCOTUS is secure. There is not a Congressional mandate to enact the leftist wish list. Watch for big things in the 2022 midterms. Lockdown will continue into next year when the dire predictions of last spring will be recalled and the government will claim credit for the Holocaust that never happened. Old people will continue dying but there will no longer be a daily body count and the compliant media will crank out upbeat stories.

  6. Happy Zoomsgiving everyone as we deal still with a pandemic that was going to be done by Easter …. OK, but we’ll be rocking by July …. OK, we’ll have vaccines distributed before the election …. OK, but at least the death rate is falling to nothing ….

    Just stay safe.

  7. The Dunning-Kruger Effect is easily detected.

People who have heard technical terms but aren’t sure exactly what they mean, use the terms to sound important and knowledgable. People who know what the terms mean hear it and laugh out loud.

Laughing out loud at you, E.

  8. Reminder: Trump and his allies are 1-38 in post election litigation.

Maybe that’s what Trump was really talking about when he said the number of cases will soon be down to zero.

  9. You guys have a good Thanksgiving. I see the Emery Collective was not able to control himself and ended up drifting off topic. A guy might call it a threadjack if it wasn’t so subtle (eye roll). For me, I can’t be completely thankful without a patented p-boi non-threadjack threadjack. One of those takes off with capital letters, three different topic, and at least one “Trump is Hitler”.

  10. Reminder: Emery was wrong about a Hillary in 2016, wrong about the “Russian Collusion” hoax, and wrong about Biden & Ukrainian corruption.

  11. Yea, Emery, you mental midget, you are wrong, AGAIN.

Nevada has now agreed to a hearing with Trump’s team. Georgia’s Governor and Secretary of State are both looking guilty of accepting kick backs to put Dominion’s fraud machines in, so they’ll be next. Let me save you the trouble. Yes! They are both deep state RINOs.

Pennsylvania’s legislature testified on Tuesday that Tom Wolf illegally mandated those machines, without legislative approval.

Democrat law breakers are being exposed as the worthless pieces of crap that they have always been. And you and Paddywhacker are supporting them. It explains everything about your characters!

Answer the question, smart guy. If the adulterous slut from San Francisco is so convinced that she’s the new VP elect, why hasn’t she resigned from the senate?! We’re waiting for your usual uneducated guess.

  12. Piling on with shaking, bosshoss, and Pete. If it’s not dealt with this year, there will be nothing left in the future. However, silver-lining, a vital election with permanent effects was bound to be stolen sometime, and better it happen when a large proportion of the country sees the obvious fraud.
Imagine the election was stolen competently and not blatantly. Orders of magnitude less angry voters fired up and working for change outside of their vote once or twice a year.

  13. Bleating on Twitter and in press conferences is something other than “claiming.”

Sidney Powell’s lawsuit hasn’t been filed as of a couple minutes ago. So, the Georgia “Kraken” currently carries all the legal force of a pdf file that someone has posted on the internet.

  14. Once again, cheese whiz troll strikes out.

“Attorney Sidney Powell files lawsuit seeking Georgia election results be decertified, awarded to Trump”

    Yesterday.

  15. Respectfully submitted, this 25th day of November, 2020 in GA and

    Case 2:20-cv-13134-LVP-RSW ECF No. 1, PageID.1 Filed 11/25/20 Page 1 of 75 in MI

Trollbots want to be taken seriously, and yet all they have are lies, as clearly documented above.

  16. Here is the unanimous, 21-page opinion by the Third Circuit rejecting the Trump campaign’s appeal in the Pennsylvania case, written by (Trump appointee) Judge Bibas:
    https://www.justsecurity.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Trump.pdf

“Free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here.” ~ Judge Bibas

  17. Looks like even the GOP has stopped tweeting out anything about the Trump/Republican lawsuits.

It’s almost as if they don’t want to stay on a sinking ship.

  18. Funny how the conversation is about a lie about filing of lawsuit in GA and yet follow up comments relate to PA. It is like a deliberate threadjack by the mindless trollbots who cannot focus and are intent on lie and run tactics.

  19. It’s funny — for most people, democracy means that the voters pick the politicians. But Republicans prefer that the politicians pick the voters.

  20. Hmm.. more deflection As usual, trollbots are just fine with lying and running. Not that we would expect anything else form them.

  21. My, my my… what’s a trollbot to do? Pitiful…

THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED that the Pennsylvania House of Representatives—

    1. Recognizes substantial irregularities and improprieties associated with mail-in balloting, pre-canvassing, and canvassing during the November 3, 2020 election; and

    2. Disapproves of the infringement on the General Assembly’s authority pursuant to the United States Constitution to regulate elections; and

    3. Disapproves of and disagrees with the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s premature certification of the results of the November 3, 2020 election regarding presidential electors; and

    4. Declares that the selection of presidential electors and other statewide electoral contest results in this Commonwealth is in dispute; and

    5. Urges the Secretary of the Commonwealth and the Governor to withdraw or vacate the certification of presidential electors and to delay certification of results in other statewide electoral contests voted on at the 2020 General Election; and

    6. Urges the United States Congress to declare the selection of presidential electors in this Commonwealth to be in dispute.

  22. The Trump campaign spent $3 million in donor money to increase Biden’s lead by 132 votes. Works out to $22,727 per vote.

That Hugo Chavez is one crafty dead dude.

Milwaukee County concludes its recount of the presidential election — one of two counties where Trump sought a recount in Wisconsin. The results: Biden’s lead, currently at about 20,000 statewide, grew by 132 votes. ~ WaPo

  23. More blather and clear unreason behind Emery’s last post. It assumes that Trump knew the result before spending the money, which is, of course, ridiculous.
Liberals do this a lot. They don’t think things through. And they never apply their “reasoning” to their own side.
By Emery’s logic, Hillary spent a billion dollars in 2016 & got nothing for it. What a stooge. What a comic figure!

  25. It’s the MAGA-fantasy that keeps the “campaign” contributions flowing.

Trump and his allies have lost 38 cases so far and are on a solid pace to lose 50 before the Electors meet in December.

I’m struck that perhaps never has a man lost so many cases so quickly. It’s not just the volume of losses, but how fast and total they are. I’m a little impressed.

  26. I made the mistake of peering into MAGA lawyer Twitter. Oh my lord these folks are delusional. They seriously believe the legal challenges are on the brink of overturning several states.

    It’s laughable.

  27. @JD: Serious question, are they purposely misleading people to undermine our democracy and make a very insecure man child feel better, or are they just really very bad lawyers? Probably both, huh?

  28. Assuming Emery is correct and Biden will be sworn in as President based on the stolen election, that sets the new standard for American elections. If so, I’m forming a Political Action Committee to work toward victory in the next election.

Our objective will be to fund the purchase of trucks, color copiers and AR-15s for Action Teams to use in key counties in key states. While Democrats stuff ballot boxes in Hennepin County, we will attack the Elections offices in Traverse, Lake of the Woods, Kittson and Big Stone counties.

First, we’ll jam cell phone communications, cut the phone lines and internet cable. Then, our Election Observers will carry their AR-15s into the counting room to order staff to huddle in one corner while we observe them. Selected Action Team Members will unload pallets of pre-marked absentee ballots from the trucks and start running them through the counting machines as fast as possible, while other Action Team Members grab the existing ballots and carry them out to be hauled away and burned.

I figure that in six hours, we should be able to run half-a-million ballots through the machines in each county. Since every single vote will be for the Republican candidate, and none for the Democrat candidate, this should even out the fraud in Hennepin County. The fact we have more votes than voters in all four counties is merely a statistical curiosity and not evidence of election fraud. Affidavits from the election workers who saw it all happen will be recanted when family members start turning up missing.

Nobody will know the names of the Action Team Members who marked the ballots, dumped them off, ran them though the machines, and absconded with true ballots, so nobody can be convicted of voter fraud. No conviction means no fraud, as Liberals endlessly remind us.

In the unlikely event any lawyers are dumb enough to accept the Democrat candidates’ lawsuit to challenge election results, our Action Teams will still have their AR-15s, will know the lawyer’s names and where they live, and will be able to convince the lawyers left alive after the initial ‘consultation’ to withdraw. Without evidence, without lawyers, there will be no challenge.

And after that, there will be no more elections. We’ll invent some national emergency to justify suspending the constitution, cancel elections, round up miscreants, and generally make America great again.

Actually, it’s not so much a Political Action Committee as it is a Popular Front. You got a problem with that, comrade?

  29. The enemies of democracy have what they have always wanted — a ginat mass of ballots that can be counted, or not, depending on criteria of the vote counters.
The first step towards a return to democracy is that every voter is expected to cast his/her vote on election day, at a polling place, with exceptions allowed only rarely and under strictly controlled circumstances.
How many people voted by mail back in September but have since died or changed their address? This is ridiculous, a two month long rolling vote with a hard deadline is measuring nothing worthwhile.
The people who now have the power to decide elections are the people who count the votes, not the voters.

  30. Pennsylvania high court rejects lawsuit challenging election
“The state Supreme Court, in a unanimous decision, threw out the three-day-old order, saying the underlying lawsuit was filed months after the expiration of a time limit in Pennsylvania’s expansive year-old mail-in voting law allowing for challenges to it,”

“They have failed to allege that even a single mail-in ballot was fraudulently cast or counted,” Justice David Wecht wrote in a concurring opinion.
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/pennsylvania-high-court-rejects-lawsuit-challenging-election/2020/11/28/5c01c8c8-31d9-11eb-9dd6-2d0179981719_story.html

The Republican bad faith and cynicism here was just appalling: vote to approve the voting method, wait until after the election, then challenge it as unconstitutional to disenfranchise everyone who used it. Just genuinely shitty Americans.

I don’t think 2020 or Trump have made me more liberal on issues. But they have definitely made me, firmly and for the foreseeable future, very anti-Republican.

Trump and his allies are 1-39 in post-election litigation.

  31. Message to Trumpists:

Once and for all: in a harshly worded ruling by a panel of Republican-appointed judges.

“Free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here.”

    Get it now?

The massive evidence? Kept locked up for save-keeping?

The ghost of Hugo Chavez? I still cannot get over the low level of that ridiculous claim.
Have Republican lawmakers finally reached rock bottom in their moral degradation?

  32. Trump says he has “massive proof” of Pennsylvania and Georgia voter fraud. I guess he’s holding it back for some reason. This continuing saga is flogging a dead horse personified. I’m looking forward to seeing at least one more Rudy press conference.

I hope we get to see the Supreme Court reject this laughable case, but they probably won’t bother to hear it. Downside is it would allow him to raise more money from his cult.

  33. 2020 isn’t the first time; Trump has pushed some form of voter fraud conspiracy in at least 8 elections since 2012. ~ Forbes

    2012 President
    2016 President
    2017 Alabama Senator
    2018 Arizona/Florida Senator

  34. Wouldn’t matter what evidence of election fraud is produced, Liberals will never accept it. There could be televised video of vote totals changing . . . wait, there is . . . well, there could be eyewitness testimony . . . there’s that, too . . . well, there could be expert testimony . . . oh, we have that, as well . . . .

Heck, there could be confessions from mercenaries employed by the CIA to defend an illegal server farm located overseas and used to tamper with voting machines in real time, and that evidence wouldn’t make a bit of difference. Liberals would claim the evidence was manufactured and the President was attempting a military coup to overthrow the legitimate Biden election. There is literally no evidence of election fraud that Liberals would accept, because accepting it would mean they got caught cheating and that conclusion would end their political prospects for a generation.

Liberals will continue to work The Big Lie until it gets us into a shooting war because they are deluded enough to believe they will win in a cakewalk. The North believed that too, when it started the War of Northern Aggression, and look how that turned out.

  35. Here’s a relevant joke:
Two Trump supporters have died and are about to stand trial before Christ.
Christ explains them the procedures and closes by saying “and if there are any questions of any sort, you may ask them now.”
One of them asks: “Lord, can you tell us who actually won the 2020 elections?”
Christ answers: “Joe Biden won both the electoral college and the popular vote with a large margin. There was no widespread election fraud, and the figures reported by major media were mostly accurate”
Hearing this, the two Trump supporters appear stunned. Finally one whispers to the other: “This goes up higher than we imagined!”

Trump’s problem is that there is no evidence of fraud. Even his lawyers are careful not to argue fraud explicitly because they run the risk of losing their license. He looks more and more like an aging windbag, even to his supporters.

  36. He looks more and more like an aging windbag, even to his supporters.

Odd that CNBC, no friend of the non-left, is reporting that “73% Trump voters say Trump won, 66% say “never concede”.

Looking back at JD’s comment, I was surprised to see a comment flavored with a “War of Northern Aggression” descriptor. Don’t see that much north of the Mason-Dixon. Besides, I think a better tho’ less related metaphor would be the various participants in WWI who were going to be home by Christmas.

  37. I’m sure Trump’s lawyers will provide evidence “tomorrow”.

So much evidence…many people are saying.

  38. Trump becomes the first presidential candidate in history to lose hand recounts in two different states. Trump and his allies remain 1-39 in post-election litigation.

Curious to see what happens long term to a political party now totally immersed in online conspiracy theories.

  39. Actually laughed at Emery’s joke above (2:35 PM) – and then shook my head at ‘no evidence’ claim which followed. I understand not believing the evidence or saying evidence presented doesn’t prove widespread fraud (as if that is only reason to be concerned about it …..) Seems like a whoooooole lotta affidavits been goin’ on around here lately – which carry threat of perjury for signatory if I’m not mistaken ??

My understanding that fraud was more common than I thought came in 2012: I live a mile from a college (Mt St Joe) from which a nun (!!) was convicted of voter fraud for Obama – she placed 7 or 8 votes for deceased ‘sisters’ of the Catholic faith because she ‘knew’ that was who they would want to vote for …… if it’s good enough for a nun can you imagine how easily a political operative could justify??

  40. Curious to see what happens long term to a political party now totally immersed in online conspiracy theories.
Sez the guy went 110% in for the “Russian collusion” fantasy.
