Hey, Mitch – why are Democrats and Big Left pushing to scrap the Electoral College and make the Senate a popularly-elected body?

I told him – and I don’t think this is an exaggeration – that there would be no USA if the EC had not been agreed to. To this, I also opined that scrapping the EC will ensure that there will be no USA in the future. Perhaps not immediately, but eventually.
