Indeed. I wonder if any passengers remembered to wish him a happy b-day and thank him for them being alive. My bet is not that many.

Well, one of the passengers sued the airline within 2 days. When he was interviewed by a media bobble head, he whimpered, “I just want to feel whole again”. Not sure how that turned out, but, apparently, surviving a plane crash, wasn’t enough to make him “feel whole”. -
I’m still impressed with the quality of that unpowered bellyflop. Damn nice flying.
