Shot in the Dark

All Relative

The incredibly aptly named Representative Debbie Dingell lectures us on semantics:

“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free“ means different things to different people in different times!“, says the font of wisdom, in rising to the defense of the loathsome modern Nazi Rashida Tlaib.

And she’s right, in a sense.

The phrase “the final solution” can mean a lot of different things; it can be the formula that gets rid of your Creeping Charlie, or solves your credit card debt. So, too, can the German phrase “Arbeit Macht Frei”, or “work will set you free” which, set free of other context, seems straight out of Horatio Alger

Except.

Except when you’re talking about people who wanted, or want, to remove Jews, from some corner of the world.

Then, they mean exactly one thing, and one thing only. And anyone who pretends otherwise is being disingenuous, precious, a useful, idiot, or lying like a sack of garbage.

And if Dingell is capable of being anything, it might very well be all four.

“CL Sulzberger interviewed Menachem Begin, one of the most prominent leaders of the Irgun for the New York Times in 1948, and wrote that “the extremist organization Irgun Zvai Leumi does not recognize the partition of Palestine as binding upon its supporters and is insistent that the State of Israel shall include all of the former Palestinian mandate as well as all of the Kingdom of Trans-Jordan”.

We’d be remiss not to observe the absurdity of dredging up the image of Auschwitz for sympathy while Israel is fully engaged in committing genocide and war crimes on a scale only measurable with SS extermination camps.

I’m reminded this morning, again, that Republicans might complain about Democommie policies and make fun of Democommie politicians, but the fact is Republicans won’t even get off their asses to vote.

Supposedly a 30% turnout in KY for a Republican governor (who lost). Youngkin in VA lost both houses of the Legislature – and he’s popular enough (among some) to be considered presidential material.

The “loathsome modern Nazi” Rashida Tlaib was elected by her the loathsome modern Nazi constituents (imported from someplace filled with more loathsome modern Nazis – don’t worry, they’ll make more). Heck, part of the Israeli final solution in Gaza is to export a million or so of the remaining Palestinians to the US (which the Democommies think is just peachy). These are people so loathsome and disagreeable that none, as in not one, of the surrounding Arab countries will accept them as refugees.

And what exactly are our Republican reps doing? Censuring the a loathsome modern Nazi. Yeah, big deal.

Israel is fully engaged in committing genocide

In 1948, there were 1.3 million “Palestinians”

Today, there are 7 million – not counting the 1.8 million who are Israeli citizens.

Most incompetent attempt at genocide ever.

In 1933, there were approximately 15.3 million Jews.

in 2023, there are approximately 15.3 million Jews.

Most incompetent attempt at genocide ever.

Between 1947 and 1949, at least 750,000 Palestinians from a 1.9 million population were made refugees beyond the borders of the state. Zionist forces took more than 78% of historic Palestine, ethnically cleansed and destroyed about 530 villages and cities, and killed about 15,000 Palestinians in a series of mass atrocities, including more than 70 massacres.

By the mid-1950s, the Palestinian population inside Israel had become about 195,000, and between 1948 and the mid-1950s, some 30,000, or 15% of the population, were expelled outside the borders of the new state.1 The Nakba of Palestine resulted in the displacement of 800,000 Palestinians out of the 1.4 million Palestinians who were living in historical Palestine in 1948 in 1,300 villages and towns.

    Change of subject noted.

So you’re saying that in 90 years where the population of the United states more than doubled, and that of the world tripled, and the Palestinian population quadrupled, the ethnic Judaism staying the same is proof there was no Holocaust?

    Huh.

Yes, I’ve heard them compared to Somalians. Except no one is kicking Somalians out of Somalia.

I haven’t asked any of them, but I’m betting 99.9% of Palestinians would say they’d prefer to stay in their own homes, rather than become refugees.

No, I’m saying if the goal was the eradication of Jews as has been said over and over and over again, the holocaust failed. Red herring and straw man noted.

Quick diversion from Israel’s ongoing war crimes against Palestinians.

Yesterday’s vote was bad news, Patriots™. Kentucky elected a degenerate, the Old Dominion has a degenerate assembly, and elected a tranny Senator. Ohio passed an amendment to make abortions a right and legalize weed.

It’s clear that people want abortion and weed, and if the GOP wants any say in the Uniparty at all, they’d better get onboard or Drumpf is gonna lose.
