Bars and restaurants are struggling with Minnesota’s fairly draconian pandemic restrictions.
People are pretty ingenious though – especially when their livelihoods are at stake. The “Black Hart“, a bar down by Saint Paul‘s new soccer stadium, hobbled both by the quarantine restrictions and the canceling of major league soccer, is…well, adapting:
The bar’s inaugural drag delivery staffer will be Dina Delicious (pictured above). From now on, orders placed online between 4 and 9:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays will result in a drag delivery.
As the weather warms up, I would expect various Gentlemens clubs and Hooters to come around to similar ideas.
Ha! Well, Mitch, I might test that Hooter’s theory out today. After all, it’s supposed to be 70 degrees.
They won’t be taking the light rail to deliver. From their website:
Use Metro Transit for essential travel only.
Metro Transit is operating a reduced service schedule.
Bus service is suspended 11 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.
Light rail service is suspended 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
Between April 20-27, buses will replace Blue & Green Line trains.

Who’d have thought Mexicans were more innovative than Americans? They had this idea a month ago. But don’t worry, regulators are working hard to keep girls out of homes and put them back on the street corners, where they belong.
Wow, Grubhub take-out food delivery and a hooker all with one phone call.
Are you kidding? I can’t even get a haircut.
Sort of related, this has to do with the lock down and virus:
Bud Grant is still coaching.
