Bell, For Whom The Tolls

Ford Bell bails on the Senate race.

Our campaign has touched and energized thousands of Minnesotans, and I am grateful beyond words for the support that we have received. There is not a doubt in my mind that our message would carry the day in November against Mark Kennedy.

Oh, me neither. Dang you Democrats for not supporting him.

(There is also not a doubt in my mind that if only everything on earth were different, I'd be richer than Trump, could take Shaq in one-on-one, and would have Marisa Tomei whispering sweet nothings in my ear. But I digress).

This is good news, actually. Sure, it'll free up some of A-Klo's money from the primary battle - but that was never really in doubt - and we have the "DFL-lite" Independence Party soaking them up from the "middle" and the Greens on the far left, anyway, so it's only so much of a loss. But it does mean that A-Klo will not "need" to run for the center to get past the primary challenge. She'll be out there playing to the hardcore DFL base - the cut-and-running, crime-coddling, money-to-Kathleen-Soliah-sending, happy-to-bend-over-for-the-budget crowd - from here on in.

And I love it when DFLers do that.

Any plans to determine the political affiliation and contribution history of the DFL candidate? Bet they're *at least* 93% DFL. But Angryclown won't believe it till he sees the spreadsheet with his own eyes.

Clown, interjecting here is like me questioning the contract distribution on Boston's Big Dig. Totally irrelevant. I went to school with A-Klo. She was one year behind me at Wayzata High School. Her daddy was a card carrying member of the local Democratic news organization (MPLS Star Tribune).
93%? Make that 99%, with at least some illegal under-counter transactions that will never be investigated by the A.G. (Mike Hatch) who is running for governor as the endorsed DFL candidate.
You know how this works. You live in NYC.

What is it with you people - everytime we, who happen to be Republicans because agree with most of what the party says, say something that agrees with the party that we happen to belong to *because* we agree with it, it's "talking points?"

OK. Want a different term? How about "Appeaseniks?" Or "Neville Chamberlains"?

ok you of the "start a war but neglect planning for the aftermath" republicans or "bankrupt the country" republicans (i admit neither are as catchy as as cut & run), when can we start to withdraw troups from Iraq? When will mission 2 be accomplished? How many deaths is too many? I think these are important discussions to have, but your party just puts its fingers in its ears and starts yelling flag burning, flag burning.

And you want to talk about enablers of fasicist dictators worldwide - have we already forgot Reagan's support of Hussein - that street runs both ways ya know.
