I saw ROTS for the 2nd last week. God, the acting was awful. Natalie Portman's South Cali accent was thick enough to cut with a knife. It's mind boggling that Lucas let her get away with saying 'aright' rather than 'alright'. Or that he'd write a line with the 'alright' colloquialism in the first place.
Maybe the process of directing 'Howard the Duck' permanently reduced Lucas' IQ by fourty points.

Was Lileks' choice for the fictional comment-troll's name "PeeveBoy" inspired by someone we all know and loathe, or just a really wierd coincidence?
