I've been thinking more and more lately that lots of people, adults and kids, don't really know what the word "sucks" connotates. I've heard it said by people up front at church and thought whoaaaa....

This is totally off-topic, but since there seem to be a few Minnesota readers I wonder if anyone would care to comment on something that struck me about a recent event in Chaska. A woman was shot to death by her son or his friends...the father, still in bed, woke to hear noises and gunshot and JUMPS OUT THE WINDOW!! The Strib articles have run it as "how smart and quick-thinking". Well, maybe so, but I would like to think that most MEN would notice their wife was not in bed and go see if she needed help when gunshots are heard....not leap the hell out the window. I don't know...could just be me.
