Quote Of The Day

In re the vote fraud scandal in Milwaukee, Learned Foot from KAR has this:

"If you don't have evidence, you don't have fraud," said Colon.
Foot responds:
Got that? It's only wrong if you get caught.
So let's recap this past two weeks:
  • Empty, content-free indictments that will be trashed by the first impartial judge that gets a chance to rule on them (read: Delay): cause for endless bloviating celebration on the left.
  • Trucks full of evidence - but no indictment? "Eurasia has always been at war with Eastasia, Winston".

Interesting that the person(s) who say they abhore identity politics are the ready, willing and able to jump immediately to it when it suits their need.

Judge is a Democrat who gives money to MoveOn to help Kerry, consequently, he is unfit to try Republicans.

I guess by that measure, no Republican (ahem the ENTIRE HOUSE AND SENATE full of them) were fit to try Clinton.

Nice double-standard you've got there.

Apparently the "content free" indictments were sufficiently full of content to get two separate Grand Juries to vote to indict.. that would be the conservative, Texan filled grand juries.

Next thing you know, Mitch will be complaining about how the indictment has to be about the "original" crime, yep, just like Whitewater was about oral sex, and after that we'll hear about how pergury isn't really a crime (well, unless the OTHER side does it), and how seeking vengence by destroying the livelyhood of your political opponent's FAMILY isn't really so bad, I mean after all, the chilling effect it would have on whistle-blowing and truth-telling isn't really a problem, right?

Please tell me some more about content free. And no Mitch, you haven't yet repeated Kay Bailey Hutchinson, or the balance of the Rep talking points here. I have some hope you won't, but I've been wrong before.

PB,
I'd ask a question about your post, but you still haven't addressed my earlier questions in Lewis Redux.

Not that I'm really waiting. You're just being a meanie... and I'm fine with that. (They are pretty simple, and even friendly... might be hard for you to believe that.)

Yours cleverly yet unworthy,
