Watch It

The new Swifties/POWs for the Truth spot.

Which part of this spot is "all lies" and "debunked", again?

That's just...that's just their *opinion*, man!

You just can't get over the fact that Kerry really was a hero and really was right, can you? And so you do what you do best: grossly misrepresent what he said and attack him on everything but the issues - and when you do turn to the issues, you attack John Strawman Kerry, instead of addressing the Senator's real views. And then you respond to that last line with a flip flop comment. It's time to grow up.

Someone PLEASE tell me why Kerry has been called a "war hero"....what did he do in his 4 months there that was heroic? That's a word that shouldn't be bandied about so freely....just showing up at a war doesn't make anyone a hero. In fact, from "most" accounts, he was average (except in his own head) or worse. And most real men say things like "No, don't call me a hero...I was just doing my job". Not Kerry. Apparently people can call him hero all the live-long day and it just makes him think that much more of himself. Yuck.

Gl,

"You just can't get over the fact that Kerry really was a hero and really was right, can you?"

Won't address his heroism. What do you think he was "really right" about? The Vietnam War? History has shown he was a gabbling cretin.

" And so you do what you do best: grossly misrepresent what he said"

Quick, Gl - what did I misrepresent? What he said in front of the US Senate? It's right there, on tape! Where's the misrepresentation?

" and attack him on everything but the issues - and when you do turn to the issues, you attack John Strawman Kerry, instead of addressing the Senator's real views."

What real views? Leaving aside his treason from 1970; I've attacked his *real* views on defense, intelligence, the war, gay marriage, taxes, bureaucracy, the POW/MIA issue...I've had field day after field day going over his *real* views.

Where am I wrong here? *Specifics*, please?

"And then you respond to that last line with a flip flop comment. It's time to grow up."

Er, "all lies?" So what's the lie on the Swifties part?

"Grow up?" Well, hard to argue with logic like that. Fact is, it's Democrats whose beliefs are immature. But that's fodder for a different post.

Kerry lied (and, in at least one case, forged a commanding officer's siganture) in order to obtain at least two of his three Purple Hearts, and was the only one of ver 3,000 Swift vets to use an obscure procedure to cut short his tour of duty. This "hero" then ran off to Paris under the aegis of a communist-front group, fraternized with the enemy, then returned to commit perjury in front of a Senate committee.

He's a lying sack of shit.
