The Challenge, Again

In case he missed it the first time, I'd like to make sure the word gets to Nick Coleman; he's invited to appear on the Northern Alliance Radio Network.

Nick! Bubbie! Stop on down to Downtown Jaguar tomorrow, noon to three PM. We'll have a seat and microphone reserved for you.

We'd hate to think you'd not have the guts to do this.

Wow! Great blog and I must say great family of blogs under the Northern Alliance banner. I found you guys while googling on a Kerry news item and have been following your Nick Coleman Love Fest for the last day or two.

Being a former MN resident, currently in the DC area, it's like a little slice of home knowing that Nick is still at the Star-Trib and that he still sits down 2 to 3 times a week to pinch off a steaming hot loaf of a column that reads just like it did 15 years ago. Probably due to the fact he's still a narrow-minded, sanctimonious, self-serfving little prick.

Ah, the memories of home. ;-)

Keep up the great work on Nick and "Global Test" Kerry. You've got a new reader!

Best

- Scott

I might have an interview lined up. :-)

You should ALWAYS keep an empty chair and free microphone available for Coleman. You could make it a weekly religious observance. Every year, on the anniversary of his screed, you could do a Nick Coleman Passion Play - I dunno, something about pajamas. Or underwear. And withering commentary.

Just have fun with it.

Scott - He DID spent about 12 years at the PiPress, but yep, he's still the same ol' Nick.

Chuck - Do tell?

CCW - That could be fun. Stay tuned!

As my wife and I drove around on Saturday listening to the show,we laughed as you guys mocked this pompous Coleman with an open chair and ridiculed his old guard approach to news management. You prompted me to e-mail him and I'll wait until Hell freezes over for him to respond. There's an old saying that ,"Christ is coming but in the meanwhile,I'll put on supper so we don't starve to death."Thanks for the laugh, guys.ED Viehman
