Envy

I've always been envious of people who can write this kind of thing at all, much less in one sitting.

I've been trying for two years now to write something like this. It's like fishing, or remodeling my bathroom; no matter how many times I try, no matter how much enthusiasm I have coming into the project, the results are always disappointing (I catch the fish in the bathroom, and wind up with a bucket of moldy tile when I step off the boat).

Ah, well. Good thing someone can...

Oh, and speaking of which: I'm trying to arrange to do my one-woman show of it in Chicago in the fall ... Feel like a little road trip if it comes to fruition??

Roughly when in the fall?

I'm planning on taking the kids to Chi for a little vacation sometime this fall, so yeah, it could work...

I'm going to be there in October for a wedding (early to mid October) - so I'm trying to set up some performances as well, to coincide.

Hm. I was going to take the kids in September but if you got a bunch of thugs to twist my arm *real* hard, I could certainly squeeze in another trip to Chicago.
