Another pearl of brilliance I heard on Jason Lewis's little show last night; a caller who was outraged that the Democrats would elect a Muslim who alligns himself with known terrorists.

Of course Lewis just let this slip by without comment.

I hope to God Ellison wins - not because he's a Democrat or because he would be a good legislator - I just really, REALLY want to see Lewis's head explode along with half of Mitch's audience...

You don't seem to realize that Ellison has already won the 5th District House seat. After the DFL Primary is over, the rest is just a formality. He'd have to rob a bank between now and November to screw it up. For him, it’s time to page through the office furniture catalogs.

The Insomniac describes Keith ellison as a
". . . thoughtful, approachable guy who genuinely cares about the causes he takes up." Which puts him in same political class as, well, a bunch of bad guys whose organization I won't mention for fear of invoking Godwin's Law.
Personally, regardless of 'approachability' and 'caring' issues, I'd like a politician working for me who did what I elected him to do & kept his hand out of the cookie jar.
