Back from Chicago, finally. It was fun, but it's great to be back.
Thanks to Learned Foot for doing such a great job filling in. It was fun to read, in my rare moments of computer access.
More later.

Sounds like we were in Wrigleywille at the same time.
I was there last weekend to see the Tigers make short work out of the Cubs. I talked to my Pastor who lived in Chicago until he was 35 and is still a die hard Cubs town. He remembers when it was a family event. What I experienced was all out bachnallia. The average age was 30 year old partiers in a red white and blue Mardi Gras from noon til 2am. streets filled with people who could care less about how lousy their team is, it was all about beer and Sun.
I agree with your take on Wrigleywille. Back in the late 80's when I was in Chicago more often, the whole town has cleaned up.
