Remember - They're the Smart Ones...

Via MDE, I caught this bit in a note on Democrat Underground - emphasis mine:

Bring a sign to education these people they are just giving their money to another Corporate Puppet
Oddly, it seems fully plausible that after a couple of years of MoveOn.org (and George Soros) involvement, "corporate puppet" just might be a proper, capitalized noun, by now...

I am not seeing how move on is corporate puppet, since they just caucused to see what their three core issues for the upcomming year would be.

Two or three weeks ago, I received an email inviting everyone to house parties to caucus on what issues would be pushed. It was either open ended or a large checklist - I didn't attend so I can't say for certain - but it wasn't just a pick 2 of 3 of someone's pet issues thing.

Two or three weeks ago, I received a mass email inviting everyone to house parties to caucus on what issues would be pushed. It was either open ended or a large checklist - I didn't attend so I can't say for certain - but it wasn't just a "pick 2 of 3 of someone's pet issues". A week later, I received a link to an ballot for the "top ten" issues, and was later sent another email with the poll results, which break down as follows:

Health care for all 65091
Sustainable energy independence 61030
Restored constitutional rights 35675
Guaranteed accurate elections 35133
Global leadership through diplomacy 28912
High quality education for all 27874
Solutions to global warming 26306
A guaranteed living wage 25527
Publicly funded elections 21096
A balanced federal budget 20945

Now, you'd think if Move-On was a true sock puppet, we'd be going rah rah over a bunch of issues handed down by a politician or lobbyist or think tank - perhaps something trivial, such as our versions of a gay marriage amendment or flag burning or something.

Sorry for breaking this up into multiple posts, it wasn't letting me post the complete thing - it had a problem for some reason, and also flagged the word 0nline for content (had to replace the O with a 0 to get past the censor just now - how strange)

"Guaranteed accurate elections 35133"

They're shooting themselves in the foot.

"Restored constitutional rights 35675"

What planet do these moonbats occupy?

"Guaranteed accurate elections 35133"

Read: election results we approve of.

"Sustainable energy independence 61030"

Thousands of stationary Gilligan bicycles that we have mandatory shifts peddling.

"High quality education for all 27874"

So they support eliminating teachers unions? Wow, we agree.

"Solutions to global warming 26306"

Dismantling the US economy. It's evil anyway.

"A guaranteed living wage 25527"

Guaranteed inflation. What the hell is a living wage, anyway? I'd settle for $60 an hour.

"Global leadership through diplomacy 28912"

Put down the bong, kids. Pick up a history book.

George Soros is just a capitalist thug and is using his MoveOrg front just to advanced his drug using, currency/economy debasing, speculating agenda. A man of the people he is not. The morons in the Democrat Party that follow this guy and other front groups his money creates serve a monied master that is more vile than most of the Republicans that supposedly oppose.
