Protest Too Much

Thomas Radke made it to the protest at the Army Recruiting Center in Minneapolis last week. He sent a report:

Just a brief note to let you know that only two of the "anti-protesters"
showed up at the Lake/Lyndale intersection but...

There was perhaps 25 of the lefties standing around on the 4 corners; I
stood in front of the most prominent group and unfurled my big American
flag, waving it in their faces. That really pissed them off! An older
woman stood her ground opposite my corner waving her small American flag
as well and chanted "SUPPORT THE TROOPS".

Many, many cars driving by honked at us, pointing to the flag and giving
the thumbs up sign. I do believe the lefties were angry that we spoiled
the exclusiveness of their gathering.

Kudos, Tom. Wish I coulda made it.

I mean, if I were like most lefty activists and didn't have (or need) a day job, it'd be another thing...

Like Rush said, protesting is a form of therapy for the left...they gather together and show-off how "good and caring and on-the-side-of-right" they are.

And, you've got it right, Mitch-they don't seem to have jobs...or go to school...or do anything but protest and bitch and moan.

I am pro-life but I will never again march for anything. I think it's a game of numbers and if others become unwilling to play, the children will (maybe) pick up their sick toys and go home due to lack of attention.

Sorry more ProtestWarriors couldn't make it, but "Keisha" found Tom and had this report:

"There were about twenty of them at first and yes a handful of older citizens, so I was respectful, and was nice to them -- but had no trouble at all telling the leftover 60s commie, who pushed his sign almost down my throat, exactly what I thought of him. I remembered him as I was an active Dem then, caught him off guard and he got mad, but we had two flags going there, missed all of you , especially Enge and his truck!”

Mitch, thanks for the plug on NARN. Colleen, I've noticed a huge drop in protesters since last fall. It seems Moveon.org, and the rest have to pay them to show up.
