As I have said before, I think Clinton has been too closely associated with the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Rove, etc. team for years. Take a look at the book, 'Clinton, Bush, and the CIA,' and see just what I mean.
I believe it is ridiculous to think that Al-Qaeda could have gotten past our nation's security and trained at flight schools and military bases in the late 90s and in the early 2000s without some assistance from the Clinton administration.
One aspect that needs more scrutiny is why Able Danger was discontinued under Tommy Franks at CentCom when the Bush administration had to have known how important the information gathered through Able Danger's fact finding mission was. If those who worked for Able Danger know what documents on Al-Qaeda existed, why haven't they brought them out in the open? I think this reluctance to do so gives further credence to the possibilty that Clinton allowed Al-Qaeda to enter this country and to start setting up for an attack.
Does this man have any class? Here is President Bush giving him two chances to lead humanitarian efforts that may perhaps overshadow his dismal presidential legacy, and this is the thanks Bush gets.
Wait a minute, why would I expect any class from a guy who cheated on his wife with an intern, in the Oval Office?
Clinton is the husband of a Dem front-runner for the next Prez election That fact situation is unprecedented so we should likely expect there are going to be some differences in the way things play out.
Or, gasp!, he is the person who will fill in when Bush gets the boot this Fall, followed by his wife after the 2008 election. I think we're ready for this. God knows the country needs a new direction. I just hope we know what we're in for.
This is pure perfection: http://movies.crooksandliars.com/Rea-Time-New-Rules-9-17.mov
