Pow!

I have what is, for a second-amendment guy, kind of a shameful admission; I hadn't been on a shooting range in over a decade.

Until yesterday.

But I took a basic handgun skills test. Minimum passing score was 105 out of 150.

The good news: I got a 144.

The bad news: I think Stevie Wonder could have shot 120. The SAS CRW or FBI HRT qualification test it was not.

Mitigating news; It was the first time I'd shot a revolver in over 20 years. I'd never liked 'em before. I could be convinced now.

Maybe that MOB event at the range isn't such a bad idea...

Great - as long as you don't work in a convenience store, or intend to defend yourself with it. See Star Trib editorial today.

Three cheers for that!

My son just bought a 357 revolver (an 1873 Colt replica) and just loves it. Of course, here in Wyoming (an open carry state) he just has to go out the front door to practice as we live out in the country. Quite a change from living in Minneapolis. And yes, we have even seen people (mostly cowboys) who still wear revolvers holstered on their belt, even in town. Gotta love this state!

Excellent idea.

Although can we go to one that also allows long guns.
