Today At The Fair

It's going to be a fun one at the fair today.

We'll be doing more Week In Review, plus talking with Chris Caywood of Soldiers Angels.

And if you're a blogger, stop by in Hour Three for the Blogger Showcase; basically, it's a free plug for your blog on the most blog-savvy station anywhere in the world. Last year's showcase helped launch a bunch of the MOB blogs we all read today - you might be next!

Stop on by - we're on Judson, just south of the Horticulture building. Hope to see you there!

That's if we have power at the transmitter site by then...

You're going to have to introduce your show as the "intermittently powered" like Hugh Hewitt did when Gray Davis made a mess of the California electrical system.

Have you got two tin cans and some string?
It's obvious that the Patriot was woefully ill prepared for this horrendous storm.
We need food. We need water. We need NARN.

Well, at least the "amateur" radio station is on after a minor storm. Maybe the Patriot should call them up and ask for help.

"Well, at least the "amateur" radio station is on after a minor storm."

And to what avail? To listen to more of their crap? Seriously - they got *nothing* on the air on Sunday.

The NARN did a full show, by the way, today - audible on the web. Y'know, that thing AM950 can't figure out how to use.

" Maybe the Patriot should call them up and ask for help"

Their feed from the fair was on a 2K phone line - in other words, a common consumer phone line. A tin can and string would sound better and more professional.

The NARN *owns* 950.

If we need "help" in sounding pathetic, shrill and unprofessional, we'll ring. Kay?
