Got Giggles?

With the addition of Ken Avidor to the roster the "Dump Bachmann" blog is officially a hate site; Avidor's crude photoshops of Michele Bachmann posing with Adolph Hitler, were they written about a liberal by a Republican, would most likely be met by legal action.

And I have to wonder - in what will be my last posted pondering of the subject - what's the fuss? Avidor's sophomoric japes are actually the high point of his oeuvre (hah hah); his photoshop "skills" would get laughed off of Fark.

And why bother? If you want sophomoric and crude (delivered without that noxious miasma of self-importance!), check out Swiftee's Friday Funnies!

Hey Eva...GOP convention is less than 2 weeks away. Do you have any Bachmann Voo-Doo dolls available? How about some signed copies of "Hitler and Me"? I'm looking forward to seeing such a wonderful fellow Republican at the convention! With the beautiful picture of you and your friends in the ditch, I can't wait to see you there!

Wait...you aren't a state delegate? Or an alternate? Well, there's always next year, huh?

I'm an alternate. I've never seen the Michele Bachmann voodoo dolls, so can't help you on that one.

Mitch - the link is bad to DumpBachmann - intentional?

You are becoming increasingly bizarre. I say this as someone who considered you a fairly benign acquaintance until fairly recently.

For starters: this blog is all about rejection of the dead-tree media. I've gotten almost two dozen Instalanches, plus a slew of Hugh-alanches and Malkolanches. The Strib? About as important to me as "North Atlantic Whaler's Journal".

Second: The ethical turpitude you displayed when you sent my *private* email address to a dozen gay groups is still on display; as Westover's comment shows, you've learned not a damned thing (indeed, your dalliance with Avidor shows you've gotten worse!) Legitimate reporters will soon realize that you're not to be trusted on issues of any importance or relevance.

It's a matter of time.

Enjoy your spotlight, Eva. If this is what your ego is built around (be honest, now) you'll find it's a short, painful ride.

I asked Westover the same question I asked you at Flash's party - whether he'd received the press release sent from Brad Biers on Eminent Domain. I asked King the same question. You and King didn't receive the press release. Craig did. When I asked him to send me a copy, he did not respond.

Regarding your "private" email address. I forwarded a public email you sent to the St Paul List to some gay political lists. How was I to know that email was "private" when you used that email to post to a public list?

As far as the link - seems like you haven't fixed it once I pointed that out. That is intentional.

Are you afraid your readers will go check out the site and decide for themselves?

Rather than addressing the issues I raise, you make ad hominem attacks. You can do better than that.

BECAUSE IT'S COMMON NETIQUETTE, something most of us don't consider ourselves too good for! Did it ever occur to you that Yahoo MASKED the email addresses from people outside the group, which implies to a person of at least moderate social skills that the email address is NOT TO BE SPREAD AROUND OUTSIDE THE GROUP?

Right, Eva. I've sent you all sorts of (undeserved) traffic, largely because I think that your site probably is a net gain for Bachmann among most rational people. I would, in fact, not be at all surprised if the endorsed DFL candidate publicly distances him/herself from the Dump.

EY: Dump Bachmann isn't affiliated with a political party or candidate. There are both DFL and Republican contributors.

Dump Bachmann has no connection to any political party or candidate. The DFL isn't happy with Dump Bachmann because they would prefer Bachmann to be the Republican candidate.

That flash animation has the audio of Michele Bachmann at the end of the 2004 session - "Mr President, Mr President..... Is there no freedom of speech in this chamber Mr President? Mr President, Mr President...... You can turn my microphone off now."
