Droogs Of Love

Normally I don't care one iota about celebrity...anything. I pay next to no attention to celebs; the notion that I should devote a scintilla of my attention to people in honor of...what, being in movies? Ludicrous.

But this story astounds me.

The woman reminds me of a Manson cult member, or someone from the Daily Kos' comment section.

Holy cow...weird, creepy....and stupid. (Did I spell weird correctly?). How embarassing that will be when she grows up or comes to. If I were her parents I'd be very alarmed...but, maybe the prestige and the bucks are silencing the alarms...

What's even funnier, is when you examine the origins of Scientology (L. Ron Hubbard started it on a bet, as the best way to make a million dollars), and then you see how people like Tom Cruise, John Travolta and Kirstie Alley have invested their lives and money in this charade.

It just goes to show the incredible depths of shallowness (how's THAT for a contradiction in terms :) of today's Hollywood celebrities.

I can't decide who are more naive and gullible, Mormons or Scientologists.

I'm not sure what's more disturbing: the whole Scientology thing, or Mitch looking at "Style" magazines.

Please tell me it's just for the articles.

I was surfing the MOB last night, when I noticed two bloggers in a row used the term "Stepford wife" when referring to Katie. And what exactly is the Scientology chaperone doing to her when no one's looking?

It should be noted that Scientology makes a special effort to recruit celebrities, engaging in generous heaping portions of fawning and sucking up.

It's a pity L. Ron Hubbard didn't stick to writing science fiction. I read one volume of Mission Earth, and was reasonably amused.
