I heard a variation of this on MPR Sunday night. For a full hour Bills Moyers ranted, compared himself to Jesus (it's not just in print!), credited himself with changing the face of PBS, public affairs TV, and generally showed himself to be the hateful old man that he is. He didn't play the martyr role quite as much on radio, but you can tell he needs attention now that he isn't on TV every week. He spoke of "newspeak" and spoke its language for a full hour. He spoke of the religous right's usurping of Jesus, and then spoke like God was on his side. He spoke of right-wingers' simplistic arguements, and then used the name of Karl Rove to get the crowd to react. He spoke fear for a full hour, and then blamed The President of using fear to control people. The man is an angry hypocrite, and will undo his own arguements if left alone for long enough. He'll always have the Strib and Democracy Mao...er Now! (who MPR credited with recording the Moyers screed) to give him attention if he needs it. It's amusing, at the least.

Must clean coffee and spittle off of computer screen....

Koolaidreport.blog was one of the funniest things I have read in awhile...ranks right up there with Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiller for chopping the 'nads off of puffed up guys like Moyers..
