Being held up in honor by Freepers is nothing to be proud of. While MtT may not have a manner befitting the likes of a fine upstanding Republican, in essence he's right.

You know, George, having done my share of trolling around The Free Republic, Democratic Underground, Daily Kos, Oliver Willis, etc., I really have to disagree that "wingnuts" have a monopoloy on grammar slip-ups. Some of the comments on those sites read like they were penned by a three-year-old.

During the 2004 campaign, before the "Swift Boat Vets for Truth" had their own discussion forum up and running, if you wanted to know absolutely everything that was being said by, and about the Swift Vets, FreeRepublic was the place to find it (along with CaptainsQuartersBlog.com.) Freepers (with time on their hands) have done a lot of good political detective work over the years, and it's one of the few places that posters can post images. They're also good at debating military and Second Amendment topics. The quality has gone down a bit over the years, but it's still worth checking out. And, if you'll remember, before Power Line discovered Rathergate, the Freepers had a thread going about CBS memos that looked fake.

I don't know...it seems that wherever your posting went, Mitch, it seems to have attracted the dark eye of Sauron or something. Man, how the unsettlingly nasty leftists have come slithering out en force in the last 24 hrs or so.

Hey Mitch, still Shooting Blanks I see. You made an appearance over at americablog.com too, but the reception there wasn't quite as cordial as the Freepers.
