Nice rhyming. However, I can tell you that outside the fringe, nobody is sad that Franken isn't running. Even my dad, who's far to the left of me, thinks Franken should stick to his day job.
Most every Democrat I know has their wish list in the following order:
1. Alan Page
2-21412. The Field
21413. Garrison Keillor
21414. Roger Moe
21415. Skip Humphrey
21416. Buck Humphrey
21417. Mark Dayton
21418. Al Franken
Sadly, it looks like the Purple People Eater won't run. But I like our chances better today than yesterday--especially with Franken out.

Oh! Let's push Keillor! I want to see that SOB face an audience of more than his fauning...uh, fans.
Unfortunately, we'll probably get Amy Klobuchar. I've said some things about her on my blog.
