Who could be surprised -- attended a university event last week where Lori Sturdevant (editorial writer) was the keynote and called it the best crowd of people she had seen since the DFL Caucus!

Captain Ed describes them with the exact word that came to my mind when I opened the paper this morning - they are Cowards, pure and simple.

I really didn't think even the Strib could sink this low. This is turning up your nose at Germans dancing on top of the Berlin Wall. This is offering an effete "pish" at the marking of the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz (come to think of it, didn't that escape their notice as well?).

Just what is it about freedom and liberty triumphing over oppression that these people can't stomach?
