Guest Blogger

While my posting will be very light through at least Monday, the blog will hopefully not be completely fallow.

Steve Gigl from Helloooooo, Chapter Two will be filling in as able.

It should be a cool weekend all around!

If I may so bold as to make a suggestion for the guest blogger: All hockey posts, all the time.

I like it. A weekend of (Gopher) hockey posts on Mitch "I Hate Hockey" Berg's blog. So long as Gigl does not change Mitch's color scheme to match his own. Yikes!

As a regular reader of Steve's blog, I will be eagerly watching to see if Steve can finally learn how to blog every day.

(Heh. A friendly shot. Looking forward to reading you more Steve.)

Every day? And who said anything about blogging MORE? I'll just be moving my semi-regular posting from my blog to this one...

Kidding. I've got at least one in the works for tonight, assuming the wife and I live through an attempt at Christmas shopping.

[Seriously: thanks Mitch, I'll try not to bring SitD's standards down too low while I'm here! But I may be doing hockey posts...]

And James: does that mean that I'm in competition with Infinite Monkeys for worst color scheme?

Posted by: Steve Gigl at December 22, 2004 07:03 PM

Steve,

Hey, don't blame me for the Infinite Monkeys' color scheme, I'm just a guest monkey that they can't get rid of.

(Actually, being a Gopher hockey fan, I did like the Maroon and Gold color scheme.)

Maybe now we can get the real story about Packers runningback, "Mr. Najeh Davenport", not that slanderous drivel about the Mad Pooper of the Packers that we read so much about elsewhere.

Actually, putting aside likely personality problems with Mr. Davenport, he really is an exciting running back to watch when he's playing well.

That said, I believe the last time I referred to him on my blog I used the "Mad Pooper" nickname. And it still cracks me up, not so much because of Davenport's incident but because of a related story of a friend's run-in with a person with similar, er, issues.
