Thanks, Doug. But I don't think it will be me who needs the sympathy come the morning after.
On a bright note for you, you will be pleased to know that I ran into the lead Horn Instructor for MN Brass at the event. He was sitting right next to Swiftee. So the corps isn't full of lefties, there are some Right minded people there.
Matt, if you read this, Doug, Bogus Gold, big Corps fan!
Hi Flash.
I hafta hand it to ya, attending this event, being a Kerry supporter as you are. I most certainly would not be able to do same if the flip flop were on the other foot.
I'm glad you had a nice time.
Thanks. I did, in fact, have a good time. Like I tell Mitch, friends first. Just because i dissent doesn't mean I have to spew venom. I do have a credible level of moderacy, which I may not always display at Centrisity, but it is there.
On election night, The Doctor and I will be hobnobbing at both the Leftie and Rightie parties, with the agreement to end our evening at the 'Victory' celeberation, wherever it may be. I just hope that we know where that is before the night is over, unlike 2000.
But two years ago, when we did the same thing, I was the one being humbled, listening to Norm Coleman's acceptance speech, and I was one of the first ones to greet the new Senator as he came off the stage, and I shook his hand to congratulate him.
Heh. Flash is a good guy. I'll buy him a sympathy round after Bush is re-elected.

We can be civil, or at least most of 'us'

Posted by: Flash at October 14, 2004 01:48 PMVery well put, Flash (and all).
Although just to be safe and fair, I should point out that the re-education of #3 son is coming along fairly well :-)
(#2 son seems pretty impervious, though...)
Posted by: mitch at October 14, 2004 02:17 PMIt wasn't your doing Mitch, it was that copy of the National Review Elder had him read that first trip to the studio *laughing*
As for #2, he is just plain stubborn. He may even end up a Greenie.
