Pulled Into Nazareth...

...feeling 'bout half past dead.

Well, the half past dead part, anyway.

Left work early today with a raging headache, hurting all over. I consulted one of those online diagnostics sites. Near as I can tell, I have Dengue Fever.

Took a nap, and I'm a little better, but I have to go to two school open houses in the next two hours.

Mitch-

Although we live a full 350 miles away from you, the same thing is going around our community. The worst headache a person can imagine that lingers and throbs. My son is a deputy sheriff and had to work 12 hour shifts 3 nights in a row with it (there was nobody to call in instead).

Let's all hope it's only the good ol' flu of some type....or, of course, Dengue Fever! Sometimes the internet can be a bit disquieting when a person has so much reference at hand...almost every alarming disease symptom sounds JUST LIKE WHAT I HAVE!!!

I almost feel more sorry for you that you have kids of the age to go to any sort of school "thing"! Those days are sweet, but someday you will be glad to say goodbye to the whole shebang! No more report cards, no more bitchy friends of the daughter, no more questionable boyfriends, no more coachs who only play his "favorites"...! There are lots of wonderful parts, but on the other hand nature throws in just enough of the other that a person is only too happy to see your kids move on to the next stage. And then if your kids happen to ride a bus.....!
