Jay Reding - A smart guy and sharp analyst with one of my favorite, Minnesota-based news-cycle blogs. His analysis is always keen, on-point, and frequently arrives at conclusions I don't have the patience to reach.

Joe Gandelman - A rarity on the blogosphere - a genuine reporter; his blog shows it. The guy's got sources, and can really write. As a result, frequently gets the story behind the story. Politically moderate - in genuine way, rather than the coppy-outy way that so many "moderate" blogs are.

Joel Rosenberg - There are lots of good gunblogs out there. Joel may be the one with the very best analysis of RKBA trends - and he's local, which, given the turbulence of Minnesota's concealed-carry situation, is invaluable. Especially until Alfred gets rolling again.

John Scalzi - Another pro blog. Great writer, incisive analyst, never disappoints.
