as a member of "the left" you wont find me defending France.

Using our countries misfortune to aggrandise yourself with photo ops and soundbites is disgusting. And coming from one of the most vicious of the colonial powers their condemnation of us rings a bit. . . hollow. . .to put it mildly.

And kudos on knowing France's brutal, ugly colonial history - next to the Portuguese, they were the harshest, most brutal colonizers of all.
