Well, Here Goes Again

I knew the cool view couldn't last.

I have been working for a neat company - but one where the management acts like ferrets on crystal meth.

The project I was on just got "restarted" today; they rolled everything back to square one; all new steering committees, everything. My boss would like to keep me on the project - but there'll be no role for me for at least a month, probably more - and no guarantees at that.

So I'm looking for work again.

If your company is shopping for a really good Information Architect/Usability guy, drop me a line.

Really fast.

The BCCI dropped from a 70 to a 15 today.

Hey Mitch,

Look on the bright side. Now you can devote your time to making the blog and radio show that much better, right? Oh.. wait. You're looking for YOUR bright side. My mistake.

I'll check with the hiring fellows around here.

A friend of mine is looking to leave his job at North American Systems International come October. You'd have to be well-versed with AIX and Solaris, but I can put you into contact with my friend if you're interested.

How about the Mitch Berg show to replace Michael Savage on the patriot? You'd double the ratings - no, you'd quadruple them.

A huge syndication deal right about now would be a nice touch, yes!

Umm... Mitch, about this dropping you a line. Where exactly should we drop it? I don't see an e-mail address for you here.

I don't know of a job opening per se, but I do have a contact who might help improve your chances. IT consulting company guy in the Twin Cities who frequently uses independent contractors. I mentioned the "Information Architect/Usability guy" skillset to him, and he was interested in contacting you. If not exactly a current opening, it might open something up in the near future. If you're interested, e-mail me or let me know where to e-mail you with more details.
