The Party of Love and Tolerance
Good thing they're there and I'm here.

Although decency bids me to say I'd fight for these vermins' right to do this, let's just say I'd fight a little less hard than I might for some other peoples' rights...

...and its always the conservatives who are accused of spewing hate. I don't remember seeing any signs like that during Wellstone's funeral.
Posted by: luckylager at June 11, 2004 02:33 PMMitch, Mitch, Mitch. Can't you see that they really *are* loving and tolerant, they're just *right* and so saying these things is speaking the truth? Your threats of violence are far more typical of the raging right. They've done it to you again!
Me too, actually. What a bunch of tools.
Posted by: Brian Jones at June 11, 2004 02:34 PMMitch, first, notice that not everybody in the pictured group is a hate-filled leftist. Just the ones holding the pre-made signs. Butcheck out the signs in the back. The "no left turn" arrow and "no turn on red." How ironic.

No wonder they want to ban high-capacity magazines...

Those execrable scum are from that good leftist group know as the Westboro Baptist Church (yes, Fred Phelps' brood). Their infamous website stated they will picket the funeral.
Posted by: Brad S at June 13, 2004 01:18 AMThese clowns came here to Pittsburgh last year to protest at the funeral of Fred Rogers, of "Mister Rogers Neighborhood" fame. Apparently he didn't do enough to protect kids from homosexuals or some such nonsense.
(This is my second attempt at posting this reply. The first time, I went to the Westboro Baptist Church site to see what their beef with Reagan was, but it shut down Explorer and forced me to reboot. I guess God hates my computer, too.)
