Crowed - Sheryl Crow - an inconseqential but relatively talented pop singer with an occasional way with a hook - warned of dire consequences of an Iraq invasion at the American Music Awards last night.

"I think war is based in greed and there are huge karmic retributions that will follow. I think war is never the answer to solving any problems. The best way to solve problems is to not have enemies."

While it's tempting to ask Ms. Crow to broach that idea to the Palestinians and Israelis, the first order of business would be to tell Ms. Crow to seek forgiveness for "Soak Up the Sun" before advising others about Karmic issues.
